Patreon for Watch Alongs and Early Access: https://www.patreon.com/diegesisTV Gob’s ego, family stock, and romantic chaos collide in this double dose of Bluth absurdity. In Episode 7, “Switch Hitter,” Michael suspects something shady when Gob is hired by rival Stan Sitwell in hopes of winning the company softball game. Michael pressures Gob to throw the game—betraying his big-brother instincts and bank on the one hand, while trying to protect the Bluth legacy with the other. Maeby skips school and Tobias auditions for a small part, which predictably leads to ridiculousness. Then in Episode 8, “Queen for a Day,” the family’s financial grip weakens when the Bluth Company stock is unfrozen. Michael tries to buy himself a car, unaware that everyone else is selling shares too, setting the stage for losing control of the company. Meanwhile, Tobias gets ambitious and buys a nightclub called the “Queen Mary,” Lucille 2 returns (and of course causes drama), and Buster gets tangled in relationship stuff. Family love letters, huge mistakes, and classic Bluth self-sabotage ensue. Watch Arianna and Maple react to betrayal over softball, stock market panic, romantic flubs, and some of the wildest self-inflicted damage this family’s done yet.
