Attack on Titan 4x1-2 | Watch Along

Marleyans aren't plainly war mongers. their ancestors were slaughtered by Eldians (people who are of the OG titan Ymirs blood, subjects of Ymir) for like hella years. the eldians in Marley fight for their honour and status in Marley hence why they were arm bands to distinguish themselves. They want to wipe out the other eldians as the higher ups their instructed them to believe tis punishment for their history , just like what happened to Zeke when his dad pushed him too hard to believe that he's a patriot.

It is also shown in this episode that Marleyans aren't the only ones to hate Eldians. In one of these episodes, the wounded soldier who fought for the Mid-East Allied Forces who Falco was helping in the trenches said "Don't touch me, I'll be tainted. You devil." People are going to be afraid of a race who can turn into monsters. If the Eldian race is wiped out there would be no more Titans.

Reiner: Literally existing Maple: Maybe they had to feed Reiner to this other guy named Reiner.

You guys are doing just fine season 4 has alot of new info and character's its definitely disorienting especially for a show like this which is always dropping lore info and clues, this is definitely a show i always suggest people watch the dub for for that reason, but youre still picking up everything thats being put down. And yes youve seen 8 of the 9!

It's Eldians, not Eladians.

Not meaning this as a criticism, but its very interesting y'all have watched all of GoT and HotD, and cant tell the double speak Reiner is doing before and currently, dudes traumatized not by losing to Eren and co., but by having to fight internally between his friends he grew to love and the brainwashing he grew up with.

LoL I love watching you all rack your brains over this. Honestly, you picked up on so much more than I did my first watch. Well done.
