Can we please get some newer movies in soon? 2025 was a banger year and need some reactions. One Battle After Another would be a great start.

Obligatory Comment: The actor who plays Elliott was the dad in the Haunting of Hill House (the younger version of the dad). And the little sister is Drew Berrymore.

Also this just goes to show how well Stranger Thing's season 1 did with emulating the 80's. And yes, that does mean that Eleven was E.T.

Also I love how they subvert expectations by making E.T. slimy. It makes you think he would thrive in warm/tropical weather when really he needs sub-zero cold so the Californian heat was killing him.

Reese's Pieces were not the candy they wanted in the movie. They wanted M&M's but M&M's said no and they wound up using Reese's. After the movie Reese's had a huge jump in sales.
