Heat 0.7.0.2 - New resort map! (Patreon)

This month we're released a new map! This one has been in the works for a while and is custom made by Sidekick and Drake. This map is a lovely beach resort you can relax in. It's our first outdoor map and features open air so characters can be scaled very large!


We're also working on various features to make the game play smoother and less janky. Please provide your feedback in the forum in the Discord server!

How to run Heat (Remember you need SteamVR to run the game in VR, and 7zip(recommended) or WinRAR to unpack it.)

Reminder: Anthro Heat has full modding support, including characters. The guide is available in the Discord.

Controls:  Oculus/Index:

  • B: Menu

  • A: Radial Menu

  • Thumbstick press: Kiss/Lick

  • Left Joystick: Move

  • Right Joystick: Rotate/Teleport

  • Trigger whilst holding toy: Shoot

Vive:

I've completely run out of buttons on this thing so you may need to customize the controls in the SteamVR overlay. If you have any suggestion on how best to bind everything, let me know on Discord please.

  • That weird button close to the pad: Menu

  • Grip: Shoot w/ toys

  • Bottom of touchpad: Kiss/Lick

  • Left Touchpad: Move

  • Sides of Right Touchpad: Rotate

  • Top of Touchpad whilst holding toy: Radial Menu

WMR

WMR controls change depending on the model, and some actions may be unbound entirely. You can see/edit your bindings by going to the settings in the SteamVR overlay and adjust the bindings and add any missing actions there.

For 2D:

  • ESC: Close/move menu

  • WASD: Move

  • P/L: Switch between VR mode and 2D mode

  • Q/E or Ctrl/Space: Move up and Down

  • TAB: Open Radial Menu

  • N: Extend tongue/kiss

  • M whilst holding toy: Shoot

  • Click: Grab something when the cursor lights up green

  • R/F, Z/X, T/G: Rotate item in hand

  • Mouse Wheel: Move object away or towards the camera

  • Mouse: Rub something when the hand moves in Debug Keys:

  • I: Make character erect

  • C: Make character climax

Known Issues

  • Laser might not register with UI sometimes, possible fixes are: Game restart, by setting the game window to focus by clicking on it, or by alt-tabbing (let me know if this still happens, I may have fixed it)

  • Browser doesn't launch when hitting authenticate, or refuses to connect: Try running in admin mode or setting a different browser to default temporarily

Common Solutions to Game Issues

These are common solutions to many problems, ranging from the tongue not spawning to the game not launching in VR, or the game not authenticating. Try these out first if you're having issues, they work surprisingly often. If they don't work, message me and I'll be glad to help.

All issues (try these first):

  • Right click on verifyintegrity.ps1 and select 'Run with PowerShell' to validate your files. If this fails, redownload the game. The download got corrupted.

  • Make sure the game isn't installed within any folders that have winky faces or other unusual characters in them at any part in the path. This includes characters from other languages.

  • Webroot, and rarely other antiviruses falsely flag the game and will delete its files without telling you anything. Make sure they don't do that

  • Restart the game and your computer

Auth issues:

  • If you're using a VPN it must be a system-wide VPN, not just a browser VPN

  • If you have a localhost error in your browser, press the auth trouble button below the authenticate button and follow the directions exactly.

  • Check "use alternate port" below the authenticate button

  • Run the game as admin

  • Make sure an antivirus isn't messing with Heat

  • Make sure game is let through firewall

  • Set a different browser to default temporarily

  • Disable adblocker temporarily

  • Disable any security that could prevent your computer from opening a socket and accepting a connection temporarily

VR issues:

  • Adding the game as a non-steam game then running from within SteamVR (if not working in VR)

  • Press P to switch to 2D mode and L to switch to VR mode on your keyboard

  • If your hands don't work, reset SteamVR bindings for the game. If you can't do this, launch the game from the .exe, not from the Steam shortcut

  • If you're using Oculus and the game doesn't launch in VR, launch SteamVR and sit in it for about 30 seconds then run the game from within SteamVR

  • Reinstall/validate SteamVR and Oculus software

  • Update video drivers

  • VR Framerate issues: Try changing VR pre-rendered frames & VR variable rate shading in Nvidia Control Panel

  • Clicking on the game window with your mouse when the game is open then putting on your VR headset (if the UI laser doesn't work)

  • Make sure the game isn't installed within any folders that have winky faces or other unusual characters in them at any part in the path. This includes characters from other languages.

  • If you have trouble with Lovense connections, watch the pinned video in the Lovense channel on the Discord.

would be great if you add a toggle to turn the water in the resort off, the FPS is so low every time I turn towards the waterfall :(

This is really good work Heat team, the amount of effort to code everything and fix all the bugs while working with your team mates when they are working with a different project and i havent even noticed a drop of content from yall. absolute efficient and great team work. i didnt think id being congratulating people for a sexual game, so. i hope it shows how much i appreciate being seen and the efforts being put into fruition is amazing to see. Again, great work and thank you!

i keep having issues trying to download it, never had this problem before and cant figure out the cause, ive even tried different browsers. Is there a mirror or another link to download from?

Tried multiple browsers, multiple download managers and even 2 VPNS (my standard one and a free trial as im not wasting money on something that looks like it wont work.) No other download has this issue and its consistently happening at the 100mb mark, the download drops to 0mb/s speed. Hope there is something that can be done. ive loved seeing the progress but the number of corrupted downloads and unsuccessful downloads suggests there may be an issue somewhere.

I think it would be cool if there was bikinis Speedos and normal trunks to fit the aesthetic of the new map. Also, I was thinking as a option in settings that you could toggle for characters to spawn pre-clothed

no matter what settings i have the game set to, there's awful stuttering. i can deal with it since i have high tolerance for this stuff in VR, but it's still very annoying. i definitely have a powerful enough system to handle most things in VR, so i'm not sure what causes it.

When selecting a character animation with multiple locations, its no longer possible to change the speed without it resetting the character to a new location. Any custom posing i will have done, or interactions with other characters is lost.

I dont know if this is the universal experience, but i just cannot get satisfactory results with large penises. the penises just keep popping out of the bodies when going too deep. Even without scaling, using atlas on any person is extremely finicky. Both holes. Aurora's body is the only small body able to handle it at all. she can take any objects or penises way better than sasha for instance. (but still finicky) I dont know if this is just how it works for everyone (i dont see many comments about it), but i'm wondering if your are working on improving this. I'm playing mainly in 2d on desktop.

The game won’t connect to my toy no matter how many times I reset the game or the toy. I have it connected like it says to and worked with the previous version but it doesn’t want to connect to the toy

I used the app and it still didn’t work no matter how many times I reset it in the new version but I had a little trouble with it in the previous version but it worked after resetting it

atlas's penis on any character. Especially on sasha vaginal. Its very dependant on the pose, but usually it cant go deeper than the medial ring, after which it just appears in front of the stomach. Happens on almost every pose, but specifically for testing: Atlas lying back pose. Sasha custom pose cowgirl on top. Auto trusting on for both. without any scaling it wont go past halfway. Physics quality on high (but tested all), vsync on or off, gape and distention on or off doesnt matter. No scaling applied. With a toy, like "the pole" scaled to 7, it can go way further in the character, but also has a lot of popping out if the angle is wrong. That is an extreme example though.

I want to clarify one thing. This isnt a recent update issue. I've played across 5 or 6 versions, and it was always like this. Its a little bit better when using VR, but not ideal still.

When selecting the player body option I appear completely invisible unable to interact with anything I can still move around, pressing the triggers on my controls also just causes random object to be activated in the room like the camera for example, this has only happened in the current version as I went back and installed an older version and everything was working completely fine

hay thare i all ready sied this in discord but the game on steam vr if your using oculus quest 3 and 2 on pc vr with virtual desktop or cabol steam dus not read the contols and swapps the hand sry for the bad texting
