Hades is arguably the funniest Disney villan ever, and his voice actor James Woods loved the role so much that he would reprise it in literally every medium. If I were to recommend a few classic movies of the top of my head I'd recommend "The Great Mouse Detective", which is criminally underrated, "Beauty and the Beast", "Aladdin", "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and "The Emperor's New Groove". And while it isn't a completely animated movie, I'd also recommend "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", that movie is a masterpiece.

They took a lot of liberties with the original Greek myth and combined it with parts of Superman. In the original myth, Hera is Hercules’ step mother and hates him with an absolute burning passion. Hera goes out of way to make Hercules’ life a living hell. Hercules is the son of Zeus and a mortal woman. Cerberus is the dogs name, which is to keep the soul in the Underworld not to keep people out, probably because anyone stupid enough to walk into the Underworld deserves what happens to them. I watched this in theaters, which is dating myself. They originally wanted the Spice Girls to do the voices of the Muses, but they couldn’t due to scheduling conflicts. So Disney decided to give them a Southern Gospel with a mix of Motown sound to them, which worked great. You didn’t mention the Scar cameo.

A little late to the party, but this was a throwback! Haven't seen this movie in a long time. Definitely one of the better classics. Hades in particular is such a memorable character here. Now, I'm gonna be honest, I cannot overstate how important it is we get you watching Tarzan if you actually haven't watched it before. I have zero arguments against most of the other suggestions, all incredible movies, but Tarzan is something special.
