This is one of Disney's darkest movies, and somehow it's still rated G. "Hellfire" arguably the darkest and one of the best Disney villain songs ever, and it has been covered many times. A fun little detail about the gargoyles is that they get their names, Victor, Hugo and Laverne, from the author of the Hunchback book Victor Hugo and his sister. Interestingly the author's full name is actually Vicor Marie Hugo, so they really didn't need his sister to make the detail work.
