So! v0.2 public is out, hooray!

Some people are messaging us to say how much they like the money system,  and some are messaging us to say that this game is really hard and involves too much grinding.

We have a sense of your opinion, but to provide a premium futanari experience for our backers, we'd like to have a quantified sense.

make dificulty options

I think it's fine as it is, not really grinding takes a few minutes to make a lot of money.

You buy the badge, save before working, IF you end up on buttfuck lane, load back, easy peasy japanesey

Andrew Rowe

I haven't played yet, but I like more involved gameplay😁.

Not really much of a grind IMO. If anything i think the gym max cash is a little unbalanced with gameplay. But I figure it's there so you can forget about money and focus on the fun. The only real bit of grinding that can be tiresome is maybe the first few weeks when your skills are low. But even then ive never had a problm

Wickdchris

Being close to not having enough cash. Granted I focused completely on skills building and education for the first few weeks. Still only takes about 10-15 mins. The advanced anal and oral training in the backroom is a little "grindy" but even that is worth the payout afterward. I think people forget we are very early into a build and balancing will happen as will many more paths.

Uhh, base64 save values?

I think that whilst the balance is fairly good it'd be neat to have different variations of the stat gain/job artwork. Maybe different skin tones and cock sizes for Futa in the Fuckbike, different "lessons" for the school and actually showing improvement when doing the Gym Advanced Anal/Oral.

Most of the game seem pretty much great, just add another feature in to gain more intelligence for the horny jerk (Rye) path, tho the lady that offers gym related work seems like a later futa-fuck choice for money, but also a possible run in with the futa officer (claudia) on the fuckbike. And the grind seems very balanced to me, cause after the 4th run in with the tax, the school assistant job doesn't pay enough.

I felt like the gym balanced out a lot of the grinding. You have the potential to make a lot of money, and on balance you'll probably lose some of it on Buttfuck Lane. If you're smart about it then you should end up with plenty of cash. One system that needs work is the investment system at the store. On paper it makes sense if you have extra money to invest it, but the timelines are so long and the payoff is so poor that it's not really worth the time and effort.

Grinding is boring but can feel rewarding, and Id argue the current system doesnt do enough to promote a healthy mix of grinding amd storyline progression. Right now the best way to do things is grind money asap and increase the relevant skills. This is due to the energy system getting cucked by the 50 cost of stat boosts. Meaning you are forced to burn weeks jusy cycling through money amd skill gaims. Granted you can do social stuff when actioms cost 70 energy, but why bother when you can just grind everything to max and then not worry about passing hidden skill checks or not having enough money for protection, rent, or random events? Imotbhfam have social events increase the cap of money you can make in a day and/or how high you can raise your skills. Promote some mix of grinding money and stats with story progression and suddenly grinding isnt a min/max chore but something that requires attention aka an actual game mechanic and not a shoe-horned cookie clicker. Also for what its worth I really didnt mind the grind, but I think the team has the opportunity to take this in a more nuanced direction, especially this early on in the dev process.

I personally dont mind the current grind. What I do is just spend a few "weeks" in game and stock pile money at the start for the game before I go hunting that futa cock hehe. That being said for someone playing for the first time the amount of time you have to grind to meet certain checks is a bit high. If you adjusted the "stat" gain to match the money gain that might help. Tough to balance boosting stats vs money grinding. Another thing I've seen in other patreon games is a backer only "cheat" system with unlimited money/stats. I use the cheats when I just want to enjoy the raunchy stuff vs play a game.

Did you time it? I found it took several hours to max out everything; and it'll presumably be longer once you can increase Phys and Knowledge past 60.

Grinding in a game like this is usually a positive experience. It immerses you into the world and makes you feel like you have a role in it. The thing about grinding in games, as a rule of thumb is that the content that you experience while grinding should be somewhat proportional to the amount of grinding that you have to do to proceed. What I mean by this is that if the entire grind consists of doing the same thing over and over and over forever, it becomes rigid and stale and something that people simple endure to proceed rather than feeling accomplished. If you add variety and a story line to the grind itself, rather than having to grind to get to the story, it adds another level of immersion and an overall better experience for the player. The amount of grinding in the game right now is tolerable, and can be exciting for someone that is playing through for the first time. For the people that have played every version out there, its a bit of a buzzkill right now. Ideally there should be alot more content in the sections where you have to work at the school or the gym like mini games that you have to do that progress as you level up and continue to do them. If you had to play a mini game similar to super deep throat at the school or gym instead of just a quick scene, I think that people would go nuts for it and enjoy the grind a million times more.

Bliblivion

the grinding is interesting, it's a videogame, not just a interactive pornvid... and it pressure the player to plan the future to achieve the ending that he want ( and if we want a fast fucking we just have to go to the pub day 1 and get fucked by Rye)

I'm not sure the problem is the *amount* of grinding exactly; it's that it basically amounts to a separate, inferior game that the dating sim part of the game is arbitrarily held hostage to. In a traditional RPG, combat is the core of the game. "Grinding" is really just playing the game. You kill enemies because that's the game, and if you're successful, you're rewarded with advancement to greater levels of enemy-killing. Here, though, I think most of us see the core of the game as dating and interacting with characters. You talk to the characters, and if you're successful in advancing the relationship, you're rewarded with further interactions--except that in the middle of this you're suddenly dumped into a parallel world of interactionless limbo and have to tediously click your way back out. It's not about being impatient for "futa cock", but to be able to play the game you originally downloaded. Or possibly for any engaging content at all. Feeling like you've "earned" something is good; feeling like it was held hostage for arbitrary bullshit isn't.

another thing I've seen that has work in other games with a grind is having them attached to a mini game. just making it click, spend energy, leave and repeat can get frustrating with content is locked behind things you need to grind for. If you had a game within a game so to speak that can help

Wickdchris

Interesting point. I think a mini game for work would be infinitely more engaging than the click and repeat. Make it skill based and the better you do the more you make. Idk how much work that would take but it might really help alleviated a lot of the grind.

The grinding aspect is so simple. If you catch on to simple hints in the game that tell that things like lingerie would get you more money in the school, or if you just spent time learning the layout with a 'complete the basics' mindset focused on leveling your stats youll do fine! It takes me maybe 15 minutes of speed grinding to max all stats , have a fully upgraded apartment, and have 20k to split between 2 points in the game where you can drop 10k

Ruthlesspigeons

maybe u should be like all the other games and add loot boxes to unlock new futas

Chudoku

It's Like david said, Though simplicity is often the key it almost feels like a cheat in this regard... you lvl up catch a couple hints and you're pretty much off to the cum filled races... I do like the level of interaction in getting to know the Futas and cant wait to see more implemented, BUT maybe a mini game system with rewards to bridge the gaps, or some type of incentive to explore and dive deeper into the game, of course that goes with saying it has to be developed and implemented first!
