Hello, lovelies. Merry whatever. 

It’s gonna take a while to finish writing v0.3 Rye, so we're working on something while you wait. 


Bad Ends? Bad Ends:

0.2.1 Bad Ends is the very next version we'll release. It contains the newly illustrated silhouette pics from our guest artists; scenes in the shop with Stacy, new pics for Chloe, and new Bad Ends sprinkled liberally throughout the game. 

Plus, we got Anasheya again! Woooooo


A meaningful gameplay change in Bad Ends:

Since the beginning of development, we’ve felt that there should be a certain event in the game...a timer and plot event, to make it so that you can’t just grind to max stats and coast on your invulnerability.

Goddess Day

The most important religious event of the Empire’s calendar, this is a day for celebration, joviality, and ceremony...

Which means public use, door-to-door male hunts, exhibitionism, and in all other ways a Futa sex version of The Purge. 

This is, barring special circumstances, also the de facto end of the game, as a gang of street Futa kick in your door and drag you to the Public Use pillory, “free male” status or no. If you haven't successfully romanced a futa by then, you're out of luck. 

0.2.1 Bad Ends will probably be released in February (late February?) to give us enough time for testing and debugging. 


WAIT, ARE YOU PUSHING BACK RYE YOU PIECE OF FUCK?:

Nah. 

With v0.3 Rye, the bottleneck is writing. Her path is, uh, maybe twice as long as Vicky’s, which means that we need to write something like half a novel for her. Good novels take a long time to write.  

So instead of blocking our artists and coders while waiting for we Wordslingers to routinely bang out another heartbreaking work of staggering genius, satisfying the community requirements for our most popular character, we’re gonna parallelize. 

Well, okay...

You’ll love it. And it won’t even delay Rye. Shhhh just the tip.

I'm all for expanding those Bad Ends! The concept of Goddess Day does sound exciting, though I'm generally not one for time limits in my games (Pikmin gave me so much anxiety from that, lol). I'll have to see how punishing the time limit'll be. Thanks for all the enthusiasm thrown at the project and I hope you all have a great holiday!

I hope when rye is release, there be a tons of sex scenes. I felt that previous romance didn't have enough scenes.

Okay, this is just stupid. I'm sorry, but if you're gonna do something like this, then why the hell give us the ability to grind at all if it's not going to matter in the end. The doubling of the tax every month is already a pain in the ass, and now you're gonna basically make it harder to deal with it. Why the fuck even have stats in the game if you can't max them out? Make it harder to do but DON'T take away that option. Some of us actually want to try and finish the game.

So some people are upset with a fixed time limit in the game and I get that, but Goddess Day still sounds neat. Maybe have two play modes? Unlimited and timed? Or maybe have Goddess Day be a particularly challenging minigame. Like a very intense match of hide and seek. Followed by hide the salami. Getting through it would be long odds, but if you do you extend the game, so there's a risk/reward element. In any case, looking forward to the next release!

Time limits are always a bad thing in a game. I rly like play with full stats bc its easy when it comes to make money in the game or choose in a dialog. I understand a point of it but u can make us not invincible to everything. Its alredy in a game actually when 3 futas stop you after work. Ye u can bribe or lose stats but 2 other option don`t give 100% chance for succses and its healthy enough u can just make it harder buy lower %. But game is cool i play it anyway but i rly not a fan of time limits.

Good news on Goddess Day, a time limit helps bring a sense of urgency and challenge to the game. Later on, a free play mode without a time limit might be a nice option too for people who just wanna date all the futas.

I disagree with those against Goddess Day. I think it sounds great. In this world a guy shouldn't feel completely safe anyway unless he's been bound. If people are worried about a timer perhaps make it so you somehow escape only if your stats are all maxed out. As long as the player knows it coming I'm not sure what the problem is, at this point the game doesn't have many other things to do in it. I would adjust it if need be as more content is added.

I'm not against Goddess Day, I'm against the inability to max out stats over time. It defeats the very point of grinding. Make it harder and or more time consuming to do, but don't take away that option. And if you WANT them to come and drag you away to the fuck-pens... DON'T grind. It's an option, get it? And make sure that you have plenty of time to do stuff before you spring that Goddess Day shit on us, or there will be complaining and the gnashing of the teeth... or a free mode. You DID say something about a free mode, right?

As long as there are great scenes and interesting plot twists for goddess day I think it could be very interesting. For example if you are in the middle of the suni play through and haven't encountered Shauna yet, she be one of the first ones to kick in your door on goddess day. Or if you are in the middle of the. Storyline with viki, rye breaks in your apartment on goddess day out of envy

Conceptually Goddess Day is great from a lore and storytelling perspective, practically as a gameplay mechanic it needs to be handled extremely delicately. I would suggest having it be a very long time off from the start of a game and also an optional free mode without it.

Might of already been asked but when you say "new Bad Ends sprinkled liberally throughout the game." you mean more than Goddess Day right? Always wanted to see more bad ends by either picking the wrong dialog options or overusing/over visiting certain areas.

I hope this game dont wanna be a Dark Souls III. People would like more sex scenes, more hardcore things, more story, more sexy futa girls, futa orgys, more perv things, more nice futa dicks. You guys doing lovely, exciting stories, caracters, arts . Goddess day is a good idea, I can see lots of content in it. I am sure the game will so hot like Rye. Come on guys we can't wait . :P You guys are so pros!

Yep! We're adding at least three other Bad Ends, including a little bit of character development for some Non-Rye characters people have asked to see more of.

If you are forcing a timer, then can we at least get the option to toggle it off. I detest timers, but this way the people that like them can still have them and the people that dont wont have to fuck with them.

Currently we're thinking of trying to split the difference, and have Goddess Day be a mandatory, recurring event that's avoidable. Like the free male tax and rent, but...more door-to-door gangbangs.
