My friends and compatriots, good evening. It's been another month with yet more change, so I'll get right down to it and try to keep it short.

CNA

The big kabookie. I'm pretty deep into the editing process for CNA now, and I'm feeling good. It feels good. I'd say great, but the longer you work on a video the more you hate it.

You may recall I'd originally planned to release CNA in June, which would've happened barring one...small error.

I was vaguely guesstimating the length of this piece of shit to be somewhere between 3 and 4 hours. Which would still make it the longest video I've ever produced by a mile, but not super crazy as far as YouTube videos go.

Unfortunately for me, I now have a far better guess at how long it is. With a good chunk of the editing complete (and the recording done), I can more confidently calculate a wordcount-to-length ratio.

1,000 words of the script results in between 6 and 8 minutes of footage...meaning the ~60,000 words of script gives me between six and eight hours of video.

I was hoping I was wrong. But the more of the edit I finished, the more I find that yeah...it's going to be in the vicinity of seven hours long.

Had I known this before, I would've split this into two or three videos. But it's too late to turn back now.

Hell awaits me.

So, as you might guess...I needed a little more time. Should be done by mid to late July. Keep an eye on discord, I'll let you know when it's done.
