We pushed through the mist until we stumbled upon an old abandoned cabin. The moment we entered, I stripped off my heavy, drenched clothes, feeling the relief of finally escaping the relentless cold, though the chill still clung to my skin.

Nisstra’s gaze swept over me with a hungry intensity. “I have an idea,” she said, her voice low and urgent. She stared at me briefly, then stepped towards me, her eyes locked on mine."
