They did mention VR for this but then nothing came of it and never heard anything about VR again. If you want a top tier Judy VR animation then you should definitely check out anielSzal if you haven't already. Probably the best animation I have seen and I don't even particularly like the character. Do be prepared for long waiting times and borderline ghosting the supporters when you decide to join them though.
