I think the mistake they made in the first season was I unknowingly having 2 tops and 6 bottoms. They balanced that part of the casting much better this time, but I don't think they considered much else - maybe they don't have that many options for contestants? Season 3 has already been filmed, with some really hot guys and in the summer as well. That one should be even sexier 🤣 Totally agree that JeongWook is adorable, and MinSeong's indecisiveness is annoying, but I don't think he genuinely likes either of them. I love that you have so much to say about this series, you seem to be as invested as us die-hard fans, which brings me joy 😄

Nope, the HM2 team had asked all contestants' ideal type before starting the show; they were so angry and confused by the contestant's choice after entering the house; for example, SH initially said that his ideal type was someone who looked friendly and sincere, but he chose JS, the producer team main guess was SH would end up with YH or SW. They were like, 'SH u said you like someone nice and sincere, does JS look nice to you?' the producer team was so confused at that point. And JS said he liked the punk type; yeah, we can say that SH has those vibes, but JS said that SH was not his ideal type; SH is more like a softie. PD team first guess based on their ideal types: SH and YH (because YH said he liked the small and cute guy), Danyeol and JS (yup, they don't cast SH just because JS said he liked punk; they thought Danyeol was a match for JS) and I forgot the rest, but the PD team did their best before the shoot began, but you know, things change, and this show was not scripted at all, so they only went with the flow. I understand the reason why they chose SW tho, aside from the fact that he's indeed handsome and cute, but he also looks charming and caring; in 7 days you have, 90% of people will go with someone who is friendly and cares for you, rather than someone who seems distant and cold (like JS, that's why Hyung Jin said that chase SW is easier than JS because at least they know they have a chance, but with JS, that's big no there). Later on, they lost interest in SW because they realized that it was lovely to them and everyone; they all agreed that SW was very nice to the person.
