I think at this point Kram is in love with Tai and he's just trying to convince himself that he's still in love with Phupha as a way to justify what he's gone through. I also think that he never properly digested the fact that Kram's Phupha is dead and that's why he's still trying to hold onto this different Phupha so much.

I think so different!!! My theory is that in this episode kram drove to the past and it is this kram, like the same one but because he already knows tai he is more sassy 💁‍♀️

IMO I think the reason why Kram is almost okay when it comes to seeing his mom is that he had lots of time to grieve her and move past what happened since it happened several years ago. However, when he fell into the falls Phupha had just died and he never had time to grieve which clouds his thinking/judgment. He went from loving Phupha and being happy to finding him dead to then falling into the other universe where he was desperate to save this Phupha. But then again this is just my opinion and theory.
