I think Taichi was just really conflicted and stressed about what to do. And tired from overworking himself. Dropping out of school was a big decision. He was really nervous about possibly disappointing Kohei. And when Kohei took the news so well, he thought that meant Kohei wouldn’t miss him. So I think him being so down was just because of the current situation. I think he will really miss Kohei, but hopefully he will perk back up soon.
