Hi! I'm so glad that you are reacting to this drama, it's one of my favourite. I love the character of Wen Qing. The special edition is shorter and is in chronological order, it starts when they meet and not Wei Wuxian comes back to life. PD: I'm from Argentina so sorry if my English is bad.

In case you're wondering, the part where WWX is assuming LWJ likes MianMian is also in the book, its not censorship. WWX is actually very dense at the beginning about LWJ's (and his own) feelings. BTW, do you plan on reading the novel too?

Yes its really long, but all the really BL stuff is censored in the drama, and the story is a bit different.

There is more depth with the novel, but they really try to respect the novel a lot. Some changes and dialogue to pass through the censorship. But they have created something more powerful. You have to watch Lan Zhan's expression to really appreciate the relation. the next episode is one the more appreciated by the fans. The Chinese audience did decide the show was worth it after episode 14.
