I respect everyones opinions but honestly, I've never understood anyone that hates on Yao but loves Xue Yang. Xue Yang has done much worse and with the reasoning of 'one guy didn't give me candy and ran over my fingers so I need to kill everyone' whereas Yao was treated wrongly his whole life, simply because of who his parents were and even after he did was his father asked, he still wasn't respected. He was abused mentally and physically with only Lan Xichen occasionally there for him, he eventually snapped. I just think his motive is more reasonable and understanding than Xue Yangs
