I didn't read the Novel but I do know a good chunk of Korean and I'm used to stories like this so I think it's a lot easier for me to understand the Characters? Like, Taesong clearly liked him for ages and just tried to stay away from him after he came to live with them because he didn't want him as a "brother" but he can't do that anymore because he thought Haebeom was okay the whole time and now he knows that's clearly not the case. I also actually think Taesong is pretty "warm" for a character like him, he clearly just has 0 Social Skills and doesn't want to do anything Haebeom doesn't want which also meant not helping before he saw that the bully made him cry.

The bullying here is also pretty accurate to real life, even though that's terrible.

Tae song's words everytime he talks to haebeom are actually pretty soft and comforting but it doesn't translate well in my opinion when you read the subs, this show works a lot better without any subs at all even for someone like me that usually has no problems both listening and reading at the same time because it's really subtle at times.

Yes I really want to know more from Taesong’s point of view because I read that Novel readers say it’s actually portraying the characters really well but I think it’s gonna come together in ep 3

from what ive seen, it seems like taesong didnt want haebeom to live with them at first but they became close after as children. however, when they got older they seem to have shifted apart (taesong becoming popular and haebeom becoming more of an "outcast"). however, taesong still has care and love for haebeom but is just not good at showing his emotions well. i think this is a rlly cute series and im excited to see how the rest of the story plays out (:

Series with bullying make me very sad and angry at the same time. I really was thrilled the brother kicked the bully's ass. the classmates are sheep to me. I hope the series will unfold to be a better story.....My jury is still out on this one....
