I'm not so sure if In really had a relationship with Wang's father. I think it's more that he had feelings for him but never acted on them. That's why he might also have said that there are things that you best don't go through with them. In addition, In has told Wang's mother that he believed at the time that a relationship between Mol and Siam was what both had hoped for. All of this together doesn't sound to me like In and Siam really dated or had an affair. It's not strange to me that In and Wang bond through Siam. On the one hand, I think it's healing for In to talk about Siam because I don't think he's been able to confide in anyone over the years. He's locked away all these feelings, the love for Siam, the sudden loss and his fear of loving again. He is also stuck in the past, just like Wang's mother. I think he can't put the past behind him until he releases all those feelings and he found that opportunity in Wang. And even if Wang says he's living in the present, he didn't move on either. He doesn't find closure with his father's death because he doesn't seem to know why his father died or why he was drunk driving that evening. On the other hand, he probably wants to know more about his father in order to be closer to him and to understand him better. He has this chance through In. I think the two need each other to put the past behind them and move on together. They can heal a little bit of each other's wounds and thereby create a deep connection. I actually think the two are perfect for each other. 🥰 Sorry for the long comment, but this series really makes me think. After every episode I lie in bed and think about it. Does anybody else feel like this? 😂

There's is so much to talk about that I don't even know where to begin. First, the mom. She really is the hardest person to read in this show. It's like whenever she talks there're the words that are coming out of her mouth that mean exactly what it means but also there's what she implies. Which is totally different. You never know if what she says is really what she thinks or if she tries to provoke. For example, with In. And I saw some comment on internet that said that maybe she knows about the dad and him. When she is packing her stuff and she has a conversation with In. She keeps saying all the things she talked about with him in the past about how she wanted to get closer with the dad and she loved him: "In, I love him", "In, I have to have him" "In, I can't live without him". She describes In like a best friend who would do anything for his girlfriend and how he was so nice to her even when she was a lot. And she keeps telling him to stop apologizing for not being there for her when the dad died. However, she also keeps stressing the fact that he was the friend she trusted the most. Like he did something he was not supposed to be doing and that she felt it was betrayal. And says to him: "You haven't changed a bit. You smile and say the harshest thing" I swear the look she gives him is pretty scary. It's like she says to In that he is kind of a hypocrite and always smiles at her when in reality he treated her badly in the past and hurt her. It's so hard for me to understand if she still feels like In is her friend or if she's just a good actress and she has a grudge against him. Another thing is that she keeps putting pressure on In. For example, when she tells him she doesn't want to be disappointed in Wang. She asks him to help her not to be. So, if at one point she is disappointed in her son, she will blame him. And same goes for when she asks him to make follow the right path. Because what she means is what she wants not what Wang truly wants. Also, her homophobic comment when she sees the two men in the series playing on the tv. Could imply that she also knew about the dad and In and she wasn't cool with it. I feel like In suppressed his feelings for the dad and helped the mom because he wanted to make them happy even if that meant he wouldn't be. Still don't know what exactly the relationship between the dad and In was. Were they together at one point? If so, when? Before the mom was in the picture? After? There are pieces of the puzzle still missing and we only have four episodes left. What you said in the end about Wang's and In's relationship growing on the fact that they connect because of the dad. At the first I didn't feel strange about it, but the more you talked about it the more I was like: wait. Now I see how the situation seems weird and a little ew 😬 The thing is I also don't think their love could last. What is truly interesting for me is the development of the storyline and the characters. There is so many layers to try to understand. The screenwriters and director are doing a hard job. Mad respect. I could write a thesis about this series it's crazy 😂 Sorry for the long comment haha

Yes this series is giving me headache haha. Look at the long ass comment I wrote. Really needeed to get it out of my head. There's many more thing I could have said 😅

I think this is her fourth homophobic comment. The BL awards where everyone else nominated was B and she made a bit of a snide comment. Then series she had on the TV playing, as you noted. She made several comments that Wang called her out on in the first episode. She thinks she is an ally, but we know better, and so does Wang. Perhaps 'homophobic' would be a bit harsh, but given all the info we have about her best friend (surely she must know he was gay) and possible relationship with Siam, her competition in drama series awards, etc., she has a pretty deep grudge going. Why she is leaving her son with In, when she knows Wang is a bit obsessed, leads me to question her motives for doing so. She can't be that clueless, then again, she is self-obsessed. She is going to go ape shit when she realizes In and Wang have developed feelings for each other! (Grabbing my popcorn for that one!)

Yes I could sense since ep 1 she’s trying to pretend she is “woke” or that she’s very insensitive
