I think there's not any exciting games for streamers. I feel like my friends and I have had an amazing set of games for both single and multiplayer that we love (peak, expedition 33, etc.). I think the real problem is games for streamers to want to dig deep into

Kim Knibble

I just watched this bonus podcast and wanted to thank Poki and Lily for answering my question! I had a best friend for 14 years. When I started streaming, she supported me and even modded for me. Later I encouraged her to stream too, but that’s when things fell apart. She’d say I only got more traction because I was “skinnier” or wore makeup, and that she didn’t want people watching her for her looks anyway. As if I want that... At one point I had around 1k followers and 25 viewers, she had about 100 and 10. She said she preferred that because it was “better statistically.” Once I saw her VOD where she noticed I was live, said “Oh Kim is streaming! Oh, she’s wearing cat ears,” and rolled her eyes. That hurt. I asked for some space to think about our friendship, and within three days she blocked me everywhere saying I was a horrible person who never supported her because I didn’t gift subs or bits. I’m on disability benefits, so I can’t really spend money like that, but I always gave her my Prime sub and introduced her to my community. Losing someone I’d known for 14 years really broke me. But once that judgment was gone, I felt free to be myself again on stream and I actually became Partner. So even though it still hurts, I’m grateful I found my confidence back.
