Apologies, forgot to link this one! Hopefully you've seen it by now but if not, enjoy these ancient things found in cereal packets.

TRIVIA-O-FACT: It turns out I was right about the Honey Monster's catchphrase being "Tell 'em about the honey, Mummy!" It was used in various promotional media for years. No idea why they put "yummy" on the stickers in this video.

( It originated in this TV ad from the mid seventies: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sW_5-DhV1gE )

80's and 90's Cereal Box Toys | Ashens

Patreon exists! https://www.patreon.com/ashens Do YOU remember things? Specifically things that fell out of cereal boxes that weren't cereal? Well here are some of them! Back in the day there were all sorts of jolly toys in amongst your tooth-rotting grains. Chicken-shaped reflectors for your bike, tubs with games in, spooky RPG holograms, googly-eyed stickers and even flexi-discs. Such prizes! I really want one of those Honey Monster Sticker Kits now. Bah.

This reminded me of when DK was giving out CD-ROMS for seemingly eternity... looks like it was just 2005, which was eternity to my infant brain. I don't really remember too many toys before or after then, but my parents did take them out before me and my brothers would start WW3. I wonder if those CD-ROMS still work, perhaps some cereal-based virus or AI wad created, never trusted that skeleton or ceral mascots ;)
