LOOK OUT, HE'S IN THE LOFT AND HE'S GOT A FEZ

In other news, keep an eye on the ol' Patreon next week as I've got the proper exclusive video incoming and the Audio Guff podcast and possibly other bits & bobs.

That thumbnail looks straight out of a Wes Anderson film :P Question for the next Q&A: Is Chepstow a nice place?

Chris G

Chepstow, the home of Patreons, apparently.

Shadow of Light

Shout out to all the Patreons from Chepstow!

Andy

I appreciate that you answered all the questions earnestly, even the ones that could have been easily answered with a cheap joke.

By the way, if you ever do a video on that TI-99-4/A, don't forget to check out the official Texas Instruments joysticks. One of my earliest memories is getting my dad to open them up to repair them and him being angry at how badly made they were inside.

Yes to the big tub in the garage!

Michael Dunn

Yes to going through the tat in the garage!

Funnily enough, my Terrible Old Games paperback arrived this very morning, about half an hour after I finished watching this. I'd totally forgotten I'd ordered it and was very confused by the shipping notification because it only showed Unbound as the company, not the item I was getting - your answer to my question was what reminded me I was actually supposed to be having something delivered. Also, I agree with everyone else, your box full of tat is likely to be far more interesting than my own boxes of tat (which are mostly random toys I outgrew twenty years ago, at this point).

I've never found one in the UK. Probably as they all fell apart 25 years ago!

How is it making videos like this for a much smaller audience? I would imagine it might feel a lot easier since you know they are your core fans. But I also imagine it could be higher stress in some regards. (Chepstow might be a hard town to please)

Connor Pape

Haha I made Stuart do an edit in a video, victory is mine. Great choices btw

Was that Chepstow thing a bit? if not how do we get our obscurely named places into the Q&A hat?

Alice

In case this helps you find the chestnuts: you received them at the Gathering Of Horror launch party thing for Attack Of The Flickering Skeletons, and I'm pretty sure they're in a glass bottle. (Definitely a tall glass container with a label. The label was almost entirely intact, but was scratched in EXACTLY the wrong place - obscuring the decade digit of the year it was made, although you guessed it was probably 1935.) Other things you received at the same time were the incredibly ugly teapot (in a small cardboard box with bubblewrap etc. in-between), a packet of tea from the 1970s, and a tin of very old powdered baby food or something which actually admitted in the instructions on the label that it was likely to turn out an unappetising grey. (Also the chocolate in a tin which you reviewed shortly afterwards.)
