The Dark Side of the Moon Logic | Ashens

Near Norwich? Join us! https://norwichgamesfestival.co.uk I feel like there's always a puzzle in an adventure game that you won't get. But some games inhabit a world all of their own logic... (This talk feels weirdly ancient to me now - I started putting it together in 2019 then, obviously, it sat in a folder for years.) Big thanks to Daniel Crocker for filming this at the last second. And my apologies to all humans for the way I kept moving away from the microphone, meaning it took aaaages to fix the audio.

Makes sense that the post without the video had "mostly" in the title and now there is the video and "mostly" is gone XD One thing, though. For some reason, the games and puzzles you mentioned and the order you mentioned them are EXTREMELY familiar. Like I've already seen this identical list or something.

Did you have this posted before? I swear I watched this before today and I feel like I'm going crazy. 😂

I agree so much about the puzzle in "Run Away" Stuart. Even worse the game only lets you do certain actions or combine certain items after set events/dialogue happen. So you might try the actual solution and it won't work at all as it's not time to do that yet, but then you go off and do something completely unrelated and all of a sudden you can combine two items that never went together before. Makes it such a hard game.

Yes indeed - I put a Patreon preview version many moons ago, before the audio was fully fixed.
