Hello lovely patrons!

I'm back from a month long break, so let's get down to it with some updates and what's to come!

First up, I have unfortunately been given jury duty for the first two weeks of February. I have to be at the court house until the 16th. As a result, I'm going to be doing the streams and comic creation during the second half of February. I wish this wasn't the case, as I don't like leaving the patreon for an extra two weeks after a month-long break, but such is my luck.

Writing update: About halfway through January, I had a sudden flash of inspiration for my book, but it required a near complete rewrite of what I'd done so far. I asked my publisher for an extension and they agreed to mid-March. In spite of making my workload larger, I'm really really happy with this change. The previous draft of the book didn't have that spark that drives me. This one does, and it's nice to feel attached to a project again.

Commissions: I'm working up some examples of sketch pages to potentially offer as commissions in March when my book 3 draft is complete. (Potentially earlier, depending on how my schedule is shaping up after jury duty.) I'll post the examples when I've got them put together for you!

Payment Processing: Following up from the pause in January, because I switched the patreon to a rolling subscription (meaning your payments go out on whatever day of the month you first subscribed) and I paused everything on the 6th (because I'm an idiot and thought I'd already done so a week prior), some of you will not be charged THIS month rather than previous. Regardless you'll still have access to everything I post and starting the 6th of Feb everything will resume as normal :)

  • Wednesday the 26th @2PM GMT - Colour Request Stream

Thanks for the update! I'm glad to hear that your break went well and that the novel's moving in a better direction. Creative work is so much easier to do when it's something you're excited about. I probably won't be able to make it to most of the streams this month, but I hope the jury service and the writing and everything else all go well!
