January 2026 (Patreon)

Happy New Year everyone!!!

Now that 2026 is officially underway, I'm reflecting on the past year and how many big changes it had for me. I bought my first house, moved all the way across the country, and published my second novel. I'm making new friends and adapting to some really unexpected challenges. I wrote out my resolutions for the new year, but I often hold myself back from dreaming big, moderating my goals to what I feel is achievable so I can avoid any sense of failure. This time, I did away with that and allowed myself to imagine a year where the sky's the limit. Maybe I achieve all, some or none of it, but I feel like it was important to write about the person I want to become as if I'd already become him. Might seem silly or overly personal, but it's made me feel good about what this year could hold for me!

I will of course be finishing the Rut & Ritual comic this year, so there will also be a new project to look forward to for you patrons! I already have a clue as to what storyline I want to go with. I doubt anyone will have an issue with it, since it involves A'khyl, but we'll see if anything else comes up and I'll put it to a vote!
