End of March Update Post! + Previews (Patreon)

Hi everyone, happy end of March!

So I promised to announce the three other projects in development and here they are!

First, we will be getting Himmel x Frieren, which has been a VERY long time coming- this couple was the most popular request on the survey I ran in 2025, so I'm very excited to finally do an animation with the two of them. I hope I can do justice to their beautiful story.

The second pairing will be Zoro x Robin! This will be my first time exploring the world of One Piece in animation. The series is always a particularly popular request! There is such fun chemistry between so many of the characters, so it's hard to choose just one pairing, but hopefully this won't be the last of One Piece for Maplestar. I am also a big fan of Robin (chwaaaan), so it has been wonderful to finally work on a project with her!

And for the third project, I’m very excited to announce our very own Maple-chan will finally be getting her first full animation! Thank you so much to everyone who has enjoyed seeing her, and now we'll get to hear her too! I’m so excited to see her brought to life in a longer animation.

Now on to the March previews:

The first preview is for the Frieren project.

The second preview is for the Solo Leveling project.

The third preview is for the Sakamoto Days project.

And the last three previews are for the Reze project.

Solo Leveling is still in the compositing and background painting stage, with just a handful of shots still needing final color. It’s looking like an April release, although I can’t estimate exactly what day, but it has shaped up to be such a fun project. In terms of animation it has some of my favorite motion of any of my projects so far!

Sakamoto Days should still be the next release after that, followed by Kaiju No. 8, followed by Reze.

I am of course very excited to get the Reze animation out and I hope it can be a source of joy for all the Chainsaw Man fans out there!

I still want to run some new polls soon for the SUPER SPICE! and LEWD SPICE GOD tiers to help decide future animations, but I’ll make sure to give advanced notice when it’s looking like they will be announced.

As always, thank you for all the support and feedback to everything I’ve shared the past month, I feel energized to continue ramping up production this spring!
