I challenged myself to find something I think could work well in our end-of-year lineup, as well as something a bit more modern to counteract today's old-school pick, but also something I'm not super familiar with so I'm not too biased. So the song I've landed on is...

 The Fog from Persona 4! This one's currently on the list of Mikael Eriksson as well as two of the Discord ballot accounts. I've seen it on and off a few different lists in the past, and I quite enjoy it, so let's throw it in the pile!
