Patreon suggestions, ideas, and opinions (Patreon)

Hey hey!

I hope everyone is having a good start to the week! This is a post I've been thinking about doing for quite a while. I'm quite busy with Update 13 work right now to make any big changes most likely, but after the update releases, I have time to think and breathe, so I thought I'd get this out now so people have time to think and discuss, and we can see if anything comes out of it.

I've thought about it a while ago when comparing my Patreon to Shelter's Patreon. Raus and I share a lot of ideas that we considered good, and people who have been part of both can probably tell that. Amongst the ideas I consider very good that we share are things like:

  • Giving out free Patreon codes as a reward for fan art

  • Showing recent fan art in the credits at the end of every build

  • Having a fan art gallery in Discord

And probably a bunch of others! Things that Raus has gotten from me or I have gotten from him. It got me thinking, though, that I'm sure that both of us are not the only ones with cool ideas for stuff to do on Patreon and/or Discord, etc. Though I make a VN, I actually haven't read or participate in many other VN servers, patreons, or communities. So, since I know a bunch of you guys do, I thought...

Are there any cool things that you see in other VN patreons that you think are cool ideas and could be implemented here?

Basically, if you're part of any other game or VN patreons and think "this thing they do is pretty cool", I'd love to hear about it! If it's a good idea and it fits how I work with things, I would love to implement it as well!

I'm always trying to think up new ways I can reward and involve Patreon as thanks for the support. I say it often, but maybe not often enough: Demons Within wouldn't exist without you all! That's why I thought it'd be cool to ask this and open the communication for any suggestions and ideas you guys might have! Please drop them in the comments or even PM me with them if you like, and I'll take them all under consideration!

Tavern of Spear creator occasionally makes side erotic stories featuring multiple CGs and slight animations as treats for higher up Patrons. If you want to improve your visuals of the game, since your writings is already top tier, then I’d suggest checking out Tavern of Spear for inspirations.

You and Tavern of Spear’s creator doing the next co-op would be God Tier. Tavern of Spear already did a co-op once so the creator will probably do it again. I really hope that you can give this a chance. I really want to see what kind of masterpiece would top tier writings and top tier visual CGs and animation create!!!

This is good stuff! I'll see if I can look into that! CGs are very expensive budget and time wise so it's a little hard for me to do that very often, but I do have some loose plans of something similar that I'll keep in consideration. :)

Hahah! That'd be absolutely amazing! Though I haven't personally played all of Tavern of Spear yet, I love it, know it's great, and have a lot of respect for it as a very successful and amazing game in our genre. I'd absolutely love to collaborate with them, but that is not up to JUST me! If the creator were willing to, despite Demons Within being considerably smaller, I'd absolutely love to!
