Devlog and updates (Patreon)

Hey folk!

Just a few updates on how things are going! These last week or two have been exceedingly busy, whew... But, hopefully it'll be worth it!

I haven't progressed much in the writing of regular stories. I have a small one in the works, as the higher level patrons have already glimpsed, but it's just a silly personal thing. I also have an older one I've written a while ago and never released that I do plan on releasing to Patreon-only soon. It's a story that'll be published in a halloween anthology that's supposed to come out... anyday now! I'm keeping an eye out for it and, when it's released, I'll probably announce it like last time and post at least my story in the anthology for you guys to enjoy for free. :)

Still on that regard, I was contacted by my editor last week and we talked about the possibility of creating an anthology book of nothing but my stories. Needless to say, I was very psyched by that possiblity, but it's not a sure deal. I've got a lot of stuff I need to do to make that work and I'm working on it to try it out. Fingers crossed! The bulk of what that work entails, however, is going through some older stories of mine and touching them up a little bit. It's been a long process! I've reviewed many, many thousands of words and there's still a bunch to go, but I'll get there... The good news on that is that at least, after I review my older stories, I've been updating them on SF/FA as well so that they stay there on their best version. Less typos and more story quality overall, yay!

Two paragraphs and no Mage's Tower update yet, wow! Alright, alright. Last thing I wanted to say is that the next Mage's Tower update will likely be coming at the early beginning of next month as usual. I'm working hard to get it out on regular time! I have what I consider a little over half of it written (including a new bad ending that I consider kinkier than the last). It's giving me more work because, with this new update, I plan on releasing the 'Archives' as well.

The 'Archives' will be a small gallery you'll be able to access from the game's menu where people will be able to see which endings they've unlocked, which variations of them they've seen (and hints on how to get the other ones), and then re-read the endings from there in an easier way. That's a much-needed feature for a game like this and I hope it'll make the game even better. :)

Alongside that, I don't think this will be the final version of it just YET. We're gonna get very close to the ending, but since I have something a little special planned for the end, I want to make sure I have time to write out a few different ways for it. This version will wrap up the second floor.

I also have my bigger game project. That's coming soon! I've been doing some work on organizing and planning that as well and it's going swell. I hope you all will enjoy it when it comes. :) For now, that's all the updates I wanted to give so far! Bear with me, more awesome stuff is coming soon!
