Regarding Patreon leaks and posting in general (Patreon)

Hey folk!

I wanted to write out some of my thoughts in light of recent events. I saw that, in some of those creator Patreon leak websites, my Patreon was leaked as well for the art content, the latest Mage's Tower version, etc. Now, when I saw it... I was kind of flattered! It's not really the first time it happens, but it's been a while since anyone thought my Patreon was worth leaking! I must be doing something right, kind of! :D

That being said, though, I don't super mind it. I don't really do Patreon paywall because I don't like it myself, but on the other hand, as a creator, I kind of... NEED Patreon, you know? It's Patreon and the support of all of you that allows me, currently, to dedicate myself pretty much full time to doing what I like. And the way I like. If it wasn't for Patreon, if I wanted to make my living off of writing, I'd probably be writing commissions here or there. That'd be fine and all (especially since I haven't offered them in a while), but I believe creators can truly thrive when they're creating mostly what THEY are inspired by, creating THEIR ideas, and to create my own ideas is something that I can only do thanks to all of you.

I've been trying to make this Patreon thing work better so that I can do more. The Mage's Tower was the first step for that, both to see what it would look like here and to learn the tricks of developing and writing a game myself. The Mage's Tower is almost over now and I want to start that other bigger, similar project I have been thinking about soon. When I do, I'll try to make sure that these leaks don't happen as easily. As I mentioned, not because I'm super bothered by them, but because I've been working hard to make my Patreon grow a little more and things like that can definitely slow it down.

What does that mean, stopping the leaks? Well, I know how it works, for the most part, so what I'll do at first is post big things on the Discord server only. I'll still make posts here so everyone gets the notification, but not include the files. I kind of had to do that already because of Patreon's guidelines and all, but I've been loose with some things. I'll be less loose now, though! That does mean that, if anyone hasn't connected their Patreon with discord yet, I ask that you do so that you can properly get all the content you deserve. :)

This post has already been a lot of text. I bet most of you don't bother reading it! It's there, though. Overall, it's all good, I just wanted to be transparent and say all of this. :)

Oh, and just to make sure this post still has SOME intersting content, I'll also say that The Mage's Tower ending development is going well... and that there'll be a LOT of chastity in it, as per you all's request. ;)
