Hey folk!

Today I bring you the first way all of you can start helping shape Demons Within! A character species poll!

Now, while this character won't be a major character, he'll play a large (possibly the largest) role in the next update in the form of...  a bandit.

A scary bandit ambush! The details of which you'll have to see in the story...

With this poll, you guys get to decide on the main bandit's species and that will, obviously, heavily influence both the writing and art of the character as well as the events around him.

I can say that there WILL be spicy scenes involving this character, so choose based on what you'd like to see in that regard as well! ;)

As a warning, though, since art is expensive and my monthly budget is very limited, I can't promise too much art-wise for this. You all know that writing is my specialty, though, and in the writing this choice will have a big, big influence!

Since the writing for this update is already on its way, this poll will be somewhat short. I'll leave it up only until next Tuesday, so make sure you cast your vote by then!

Higher tier patrons will, as usual, get a second vote on a separate poll and the end result will be the sum of both of them, so keep that in mind when voting as well. The results you see here might not reflect the final results at any point!

Vote for whichever one YOU like the most!

Thank you! I look forward to seeing what will win this time around!

Yeen! One of my favorite species!

Hyenas as bandits are a stereotype, break the usual with an intimidating bull :P

Yeah! That would be really refreshingly different. Hyenas are so overdone

I blame Lion King (maybe?)! Hahah! I think hyenas make cool bandits and I'll do my hecking best if it wins but if something else wins that'll be cool too! Whatever does win, there'll be opportunities for the other species to show up in future characters still! ;)

To be fair bull/minotaur bandits is also a stereotype

If looking at it through such a lens, yes, the original minotaur of Greek mythos was just that, the monster in the Labyrinth. Though they can also be seen as gentle giants, so perhaps more approacha-bull from a writer's point of view with regards to demeanor, emotions or flexibility. I've read a visual novel I enjoyed about minotaur, https://minoh.itch.io/minotaur-hotel-sfw, was fun to see a different take on minotaur alike that bends the tropes!
