BIG PATREON CHANGES! (Please read) (Patreon)

Heeey folk!

Today I bring you the news I promised last week! After much research and deliberation, the new Patreon changes are here! Please take a moment to read through this! (or at least the parts of the tier that applied to you)

These changes are made to reorganize and prepare my Patreon to support my ongoing game development plans that are starting alongside my stories! Please bear with me!

The big change: TIERS AND PRICES!

Fret not! I wanted to do my best with the changes to make sure that nobody lost benefits. I'll go over the new tiers and then what changes for each previous tier separately:

NEW TIERS:

LVL 1: Supporter ($3)

• Early access to game builds
• Early access to stories
• Vote to game and story polls

LVL 2: Avid Supporter ($7)

Previous benefits +

• Story drafts access
• Access to WIP of art and sprites

LVL 3: Eager Supporter ($15)

Previous benefits+

• Access to earlier beta game builds
• Double vote on polls

LVL 4: Top Supporter ($25)

No extra benefits, just for those that want to support more

As you can see, a lot of the old benefits moved back to cheaper tiers! I cannot move people in tiers as a Patreon creator! To move tiers, you have to do it yourself by changing your pledge on Patreon. Please take a look at the new tiers and change your pledge to whichever new tier you prefer whenever you can! For people in the old tiers:

PREVIOUS $5 TIERS:

All of the bigger benefits from this tier (2-4 weeks early access to stories and game builds) moved back to the $3 tier. The only previous benefit that moved forward is the previews of WIP art when that happens! That moved up to the $7 tier. You'll still have access to all previous posts up until now and, if you don't change your tier, you'll still have access to all the $3 tier stuff in the future, but you'll be paying more for it. Please consider changing!

tl;dr: If you're only interested in early releases for stories and games, I recommend repledging to the $3 tier! If you'd like extra benefits, choose any tier above and re-pledge there!

PREVIOUS $15 TIERS:

All previous benefits that were in the $15 tier were moved back to the $7 tier. If you're interested in Demons Within, you can re-pledge to the new $15 tier for early access to the beta builds, but otherwise, you can move back to $7 and keep all previous benefits! People that don't change their pledge and stay in this tier will receive all benefits of up to the new $15 tier, but please do change your pledge whenever you can.

tl;dr: All previous $15 benefits are now in the $7 tier, so I recommend pledging down to $7 unless you'd like something from the tiers above.

PREVIOUS TIP JAR TIER:

I am immensely thankful that I had people throwing in a few bucks my way just for their support! However, with the new lowest tier being $3, there wasn't much point in having a $2 tip tier with no benefits. A $1 tip jar tier is not profitable because counting taxes, there is a chance that there will be very little of that $1 left for me anyway, so it was a no-go. There's nothing that can be done here but to re-pledge to an actual tier or stop the support. People that stay in this tier and don't re-pledge or let go will continue to just tip.

tl;dr: The tip jar tier is gone. If you were in it, please consider changing up to the $3 basic tier to get all the major benefits of my Patreon! If that's not of your interest, I still very much appreciate all the support so far and no hard feelings about stopping. Sorry!

That's the gist of it! As you can see, most previous benefits are now in cheaper tiers, so I urge you to take a look and change your pledge based on how much you'd like to support and what you're interested in getting so you're not paying more than you have to for anything. I really appreciate all the support and I'm sorry for imposing all this hassle on my current patrons!

There's also been a re-structuring of the Discord server! That, however, shouldn't affect people much. All the same servers are still there with all levels of access still working for both new and old tiers accordingly! (Or at least I hope so!)
