Sam expression sheet, discord emotes and devlog! (Patreon)

Hey hey!

I've got a few things to share, update you guys on and announce today! So let's get on with it...

Sam's Expression sheet + Sam Discord emotes

It's been a little bit since Update 3 came out. As you all know, I'm already deep into Update 4 work, but while it all is being made, I'll keep you all updated and release the bonus after-stuff, so to speak, from Update 3.

The first of such being Sam's expression sheet! Our coyote isn't exactly the most expressive character, as those who have played Update 3 have seen, so he doesn't have that many... yet. Still, he has some, and here you can see them all in one place the same way I work with them for now!

At the same time, as usual, as I release this, I already added some of them as Discord emotes on the server! Feel free to play with them around as much as you want. :)

Update 4 progression

Not too much to say here, I think! It's going well. I have about half of it written and, for now, I predict a length similar to Update 3's! There's a little branching in it in some (hopefully) fun and interesting ways but, most of all, there's a whole lot of bear!

Since there are no new characters (with sprites) showing up in this update, Blain and I are taking the chance to update some more interface things. We're already going to see a brand new updated Main Menu in Update 4 and, if everything goes according to plan, also the first features of what I'm calling the Memorium.

Serving as what you would maybe call a Gallery in other games, the Memorium is a special menu where you, as Lust, just roam around Resnick's head to view his memories. That means you'll get a chance to review any unlocked memory entries (the clickable ones) at first, but I also have a whole bunch of different things planned to be doable in it! I hope you'll like it. x)

And finally... announcement! Discord server going public in the upcoming weeks

This is something I had already gotten a few requests for but, since the game was small, I didn't want to do it yet. Now that we're slowly starting to grow, I think having an official place in Discord for everyone to talk about Demons Within would be something cool for everyone.

Right now, the Discord server I have is tied to Patreon and inaccessible outside of paying for at least the smallest Patreon tier. In the upcoming weeks, I plan on changing that! I'll open the server to the public, which means anyone can join or invite their friends and, ultimately, have a place for everything related to Demons Within.

For Patrons, though, not much will change! I'll be doing a small revamp of the server's channels and looks. I'll add a bunch of new channels that people that join sporadically will be able to access. The server is bound to be a bit busier, but for Patrons, the channels you see in the server right now will remain Patreon-only. Since Patreon and its bot do it automatically, it is guaranteed that the privileges you guys have for being supporters will remain as they are and I will be keeping those channels that are Patreon-only, as well as the channels to discuss Patreon-first builds.
