I suspect weakened or temporarily gone. I'd think Casper would use an escape skill before permanently sacrificing her.

I wonder if its somewhat like the king in the mask situation. Lyra gets "sacrificed" for a huge power boost but she is returned to a soul form stuck coma like trance in the necklace until casper can do "x" to get her back.

There's no way Lyra is dead, considering the lengths Casper went to get her back. Which means whatever they're doing is a temporary sacrifice. Which means Casper being so sorrowful seems... Odd. Unless it's just because it's painful and he hates causing her pain. Because if she Does die from it, that'd be wildly out of character compared to what have been presented so far. Will be interesting to see next week.

Creative use of skills, good callbacks to show growth, shows the weakness of event horizon, and keeps the enemy being terrifying, while keeping up high skill usage and high damage. Keeps the high marks, pacing is closest to lowering. Come on Jake Juicing the golem to create a body for Lyra, it would improve the soul bound item to be a golem with the locket. The reason it won't happen is you would want to empower Jacob at the same time.

That or it causes her immense pain and the strength of the skill comes from the strong emotions felt by both of them. Casper’s love and guilt for inflicting her pain and Lyra’s love and acceptance of said pain. But loss seems like a stronger term than that so you’re probably more accurate than me on it being a full on sacrifice skill, similar to Jacob and Bertram but stronger and with more backlash on Lyra

Pretty sure Lyra is like Bertram where she can’t really “die” unless the thing she is bound to is destroyed (the locket bound to Casper)

"*fueling* energy into the corpse" should be "funneling" "avoid being caught *up to*." awkward phrasing. ditch these two. "Having failed to easily *get Jake off*" you said you go for americanisms so I'll just say, phrasing :D maybe try "remove Jake/the threat" instead " instantly feeling that while the golem’s soul was weaker than he’d expected. " missing the end of the sentence or "while" is excess. "over the black *spoke* harmlessly." should be "smoke"

If I'm remembering correctly, her true soul actually remains inside Casper's locket, which means this isn't likely her dying. I'm guessing it's a powerful skill with a LOT of drawbacks for Lyra, including heavy emotional strain since this looks like an insane concentration of incredibly sad curse energy he just flooded her body with. Can't wait for Monday's chapter!

Lyra's true soul is tied to the locket so she not dead. Her loving boyfriend/phylactery just used despair energy or something to blow her up and cover everything in sadness vibes. Is this where we find about how Pride "wanes in despair"? Jakes domain-like affect is suppressed or is far weaker than normal?

He already has the basis of it with Event Horizon. The end of its description is "for now, a mere glimpse of the Event Horizon is all you are capable of, knowing it carries the promise of an endless domain to one day make your own." I reckon it will be some time before it goes beyond it's current form to something greater.

I've figured out how the system will be created. A billionaire gets upset that the professional athlete he just gave 80 million a year to gets hurt in his first game. He tells his secret and very illegal AI to come up with a way to know a person's true status, abilities, and potential. The AI hacks into a secret government facility and releases nanobots. After the billionaire passes away, the ai decides to release the access to "the system" to everybody.

Jake and Casper exit the dungeon. Miranda is waiting for them with a wrapped present. Jake gives it to Casper, "a little gift as a thank you for doing the dungeon with me." Casper unwraps it and is confused why Jake would give him black lipstick, mascara, and black hair die." Jake tells him he wants to support his life decisions and understands that this isn't just an emo phase he is going through.

I feel like Zog wanted to make this dungeon a whole book but someone told him not too so thats why minaga forgot to give them the lore book and why its so fast forwarded, not complaining, i love how its flowing though. I feel i would get bored reading dungeon clearing over and over. Thank you for the chapters

I’ve been re-reading the books on KU and just finished 14. I can’t believe how far the story has come since then! Jake’s about to confront the Holy rollers about Ell’Kabong’s soul. Yes, I know, wrong names but I’m really bad at recalling the correct ones. I can’t wait until March to at least finish that arc so I’ll be reading on RR or here. Probably RR since their interface is better on my phone.
