Seems this event won't just be a slaughter fest to determine who gets the big seat, but something more complicated. Well, with Miranda there Jake won't have to do any of the talking and diplomacy stuff, because if he did it that would really crater his chances.

Nice to see the Northpeak Wyvern again. On account of the break in December I ended up listening to a number of the later audiobooks including the part where he turned over his new leaf, and I've been wondering what he was doing these days. Turns out working with Miranda, which probably shouldn't be a surprise. Arnold working on Jake's gear and sending him to Venus instead of even participating in the event at all. It really goes to show that the world council types who were worried about him being the threat to Earth are being a bit silly, he knows where his bread is buttered.

TFTC :) Was gonna add a question in here about the mix of b grades and c grades for mirandas group but you have addressed that already. Suggested edits: " in case something goes *amiss*. " should be "awry" it means the same but it the more usual word. From the reworded section: "and I hope this meeting is what *pushed* me over the edge." should be "pushes" since it hasnt happened yet from her phrasing.

Jake gets/needs no team. He is already a full administrator and doesn't need to participate in this event to upgrade his status (administrator candidate to administrator). After the candidates' event each galaxy's administrators will take part in another event to decide who is the Chief Administrator for the galaxy. Current Milky Way administrators are Jake, Kindroth, and a yet to be revealed individual called "Servant of the Holy Church". El Hakan and King Iludar were administrators but they died.

Lol. “Paying Venus a little visit” sounds like a euphemism. Fun chapter. It definitely didn’t go like we were thinking. Miranda’s team should be interesting. I hope we get POV chapters from their round of the competition. It was nice to get updates on Holstred, Lillian, and William. I’m definitely pleased they brought back the Wyvern.

Arnold, in general, is rarely interested in the rest of the universe. He focuses mainly on his own ambitions. If it isn't something that would benefit him he tends to stay out of it. Becoming the Chief Administrator would just take his time away from his experiments.

We won't see that for sometime I am guessing. It stated that no one outside the Milky Way could compete for the Milky Way seat. Jake is the guaranteed leader. I am expecting that she will come in to play for the next stage of this event. So 110 days before it becomes relevant. Fighting seems to also not be something relevant to this event, at least not the first part of it.

It looks like the actual galaxies are all that matters. The Boots Void is a large region of absolutely nothing. As for the Great Attractor, who knows. We do not even know what it is, this is because the direction of the attractor is blocked from us by the Milky Way itself. it will be another 100+ million years before we are on the other side of the Milky Way and are able to view it. In that sense, Zog could really say anything he wants about it if anything at all. In the end, this story doesn't really bring real world astronomy in. If it did everything would be really messed up. Everything expanded in size 100 fold I think. This would make our gas giants into stars and the rocky worlds into gas giants.

miranda wins the chairman of the wonder position because the god there doesn't want to deal with jake. on Venus jake finds a toxic and corrosive elemental that ends up joining the order.

It seems like Zog really didn't have much of a plan for this event. He just completely made the first half of the event unimportant. Jake is the winner by default, the second stage probably be a couple chapters and we will move on. It seemed like it was going to be this huge thing when it was first mentioned. Now it has become less meaningful that Jake's fight with the True Dragon. This seems to be something more important to those in the lower levels of power, at least in the first stage. Only time will tell, but I am expecting some more "bite of life" chapters. I am excited about Jake taking on the rocky worlds of the Solar System.

Currently I see two options how this will go: 1. Jake has utmost superiority in the selection. 2. Jake has no chance of getting selected, so he gains a new top prioity item on his To-Hunt list to inherit their position. But knowing Zogarth I might be pleasantly surprised. P.S. In case of the second option I would love to see Miranda coming back from the first event looking at Jake and saying something like "Yeah, if the next one is like this was, you are F*ed"

Damn. An interesting team coming together. I’m pumped. I thought we’d get a repeat of nevermore, but instead we get: Miranda - Jake never worked closely with her fighting and powers wise. William - pretty cool to see what happens with him. Does he like Jake for helping him? Does he hate him for killing him? He seems to have joined Jake’s faction a long time ago already, so it’s just interesting. Northpeek wyvern - yes, an ice dragon! Will maybe become the first dragon of earth.

William is just sad , From an epic psychopath metal mage in the tutorial just to get smacked hard and die just to get fucked all the way until he denounce Eversmile, I really really wish he get his shit together in B grade because now he's just the karma mage nobody trusts with no real path , like is he trying to be a friend with jake and just be a good guy? I liked him more when he thirst for power with his Metal Savant psychopathic persona.. I really think he can be a great Antagonist with a Revenge arc against jake and Eversmile

IT'S TIME FOR THEORY; we'll begin the Exalted Prima arc, version "B". In preparation, I hope Jake has a bit more contact with beings focused on concepts so he can start using that damn meditation he almost forgot he has.... For the event, I incredibly hope for an event where you have to improve and create an object or animal to a certain level in a kind of scavenger hunt format, with upgrades or something like that... but if it's just a Tower Defense style competition, that would be cool too..... In the post-event, I hope for at least a new dragon companion and, as an additional bonus, finally a "good" skill with the bow..... let's see if I get anything right... leave your suggestions, friends!

If he doesn't really begin pioneering a unique and specialized path then I doubt he'll make it to A grade, so far I feel like he's been coasting on the records he got from getting his teeth kicked in by Jake and being affiliated with Eversmile. But who knows, maybe he has been doing things behind the scenes and he'll surprise us.

Hmm.. if a Prima Guardian won its planetary pylon within the Milky Way and now a powerful monster that Earth doesn't know about is an Administrator Candidate.. couldn't some of the big organizations sign soul contracts and give the monster a hefty team to win an Administrator spot? And maybe this could be done multiple times? Then there would be multiple monsters who win admin spots that can gang up to fight Jake for Chief Admin with the contracts making the winning monster a Chief Admin puppet for the organization? Since it seems only the enlightened planets of the Milky Way have agreed not to compete with Jake.. Maybe his undisputed Chief Admin spot won't be so undisputed after all 🤔. Earth just hasn't gotten the memo yet

I would love to see the wonder focus on helping people find their paths. Jake is both amazingly accomplished in that regard (wyvern, William, and his creations) and also a horrible candidate to run it. I think Jacob will find a purpose there. miranda could turn it into a dark and misty a swamp that the escape from is finding your true path. how the trial is going to go? no idea. combination of the trial dungeon in nevermore that jake did while recovering and the original prima event where we met sim-jake. could just be a job interview with the bound god in the wonder.

I wouldn’t be overly surprised if the trial is similar to the path not taken style of the original trial. But perhaps they have control of these alternate selves. The most dangerous for Jake would be something like that as a group survival trial.

I don’t know. If Jakes not happy, I’m not going to argue with his instincts. William? Hopefully he still wants to be helpful to Jakes party. The Frost Wyvern becoming Earths first True Dagon will be a Seriously OP dragon just because he came from Earth. As a friendly actor towards Jake? Jake did get it recognized and promoted by his patron. I’m not too clear about who is in Jakes team. If Miranda is also a contender, are William and Holstred? What does that mean for Jake?

SHEESH even better than seeing Jakes old party reunite. We get Miranda as a party member along very odd choices. This is a super unexpected twist to be honest as this time Jake isn't 100% trusting of his allies compared to nevermore and lacks understanding of their skills yet still accepts. Its is bound to be a cool arc, even better if it finally expands on the Dao sect.

So the party is Jake, Miranda, William, the dragon, and ???? Sultan? Is that right or are they on the hunt for a fifth since Arnold declined. Or is it Kindroth? I'm confused about a lot of this to be honest. Everyone is spreading out to different galaxies to try and represent other factions but also win it for Jake, who's gonna get the seat regardless of who wins.

After this the people involved might become qualified for the chief administrator trial. Jake's bit will be the chief asministrator trial which is in 110 in story days so Jake's off to beat the Venusian mond fungus to death or whatevers there 😁
