Declined payments (Patreon)

Patreon has issues lately declining more payments than usual. Not just to me but other creators. If you use credit card and have been declined, consider contacting patreon or using another payment method. If you've removed your pledge because of this, consider pledging again and hopefully next month it'll work fine. Sorry for the inconvenience

Evidently they switched the bank they use to the UK instead of the US. So it may end up being looked at as a fraudulent charge to the banks. Need to spread the word to your supporters to talk to their banks to let them know that Patreon is not a fraudulent charge on your card. Will fix the issue on my end as soon as possible to continue to support you.

That’s what I understand, I’m thinking it’s mostly American banks because when I phoned into mine, Canadian, they said they don’t see any reason it would be fraud. I explained to them and the guy said they see a bunch of others that went through too.
