For most VR conversions I go with what the artist animated, especially for shorter ones like this and that wouldn't be a quick alteration to the animation. For 3D videos I don't change the animation at all since they're free releases and my hands are full as it is with patron supported releases. So if you'd like to see an alternate version of the animation you'd need to make the request to the original animator.
