Sounds like you need a character to act as an in-between person to pass on Glimmer’s info. You mentioned Brock wanting a history professor in the Guardians. Maybe there is someone who can act as an aide to Glimmer and her many studies while recording and cross-referencing her oral history. You can still have Glimmer antics and the occasional song, but it can be searchable info, or another character to send to find out info otherwise.

So, I'm a little bit confused as to whether or not Brock, Sabrina and the Rangers faced off against an alpha variant Onix; or if this was how the in-universe dynamax raid battles were introduced last chapter. Especially since you already mentioned alpha variant pokemon (which you established as called having a "king gene") back in chapter 28 when brock was commenting on his Lapras' size. Cool chapter nonetheless, and as for Glimmers, yeah, I got nothing
