Due to the strains and projected amounts of work on our animator, we're pushing the Composer job back a milestone to the $20k mark, and bringing the 2nd Animator Milestone up to the $16.5k mark. All other positions before that one are covered by people already being paid out of S-Purple's pocket, and must be paid for first and foremost.

I suspected this would happen, and I believe it's a good thing. Animations should get priority over audio, having a second one sooner rather than later will pay bigger dividends.

Honesty this was the major problem with Breeding Season it was a game that basically for every monster added they had to add an entire relay of animations to the point that there was suppose to be a 1000+ animations but they constantly were focusing of graphic updates and adding new features which just kept leading them to having to redo all the animations and they did this so often that it was too the point that the more earlier versions had more animations than the newer ones they were shitting out which was extremely annoying as all they were doing were giving us less and less content per update and it seemed that they were just trying to extend the time it was going to take to finish the game so they can rack up as much money as possible.

I should mention that in the future we might have to move the 2nd Programmer Milestone forward as well, depending on how Alniarez holds up over time. He feels he has it in hand for the moment, so it stays where it is. ~JH

I agree with the sentiment, but the fact that there is only one period in that block of text takes something from it.

I think it's a good idea. I would even suggest putting the 2nd programmer before a composer. At this stage of the project audio is a really non-necessary addition, at least compared to animating and programming. Those two add much more to the project, than sound effects and music. That's because every time you guys make something new in the game, the composer would have to work additionally. It's easier to create music and sounds once there is something to work on, meaning after like 6 months have passed for example ;) But that's just my opinion. I agree with the changes though, and I'm happy you guys are keeping track of everything :D

Normally I'd agree with you, but it's highly unlikely we'll hit 20k before a year has passed, so a second programmer isn't an issue no matter how it's couched. ~JH

Out of curiosity, is there an ETA for when the male PC will be added to the game? Much as I might want to pledge as a former patron of Breeding Season, I can't say I'm interested in doing so until it's implemented.

Beginning in Alpha v1.04, and then continuing major advancements throughout Alpha v2.01.
