Sup everyone, how're ya doing, how're ya doing?

First up, for those that didn't see it cause you had "real work", I just released the patch for the 15 dollar tier: https://www.patreon.com/posts/111021063

Anyways, I have been thinking for a while about what to do about 1 specific aspect of this game... And that is outfits.

People I talk to have been asking about outfits since the god damn inception of this game, and while there are some, it's actually really hard to add. For the sprites, it's not hard - it can be drawn and usable in like 30 minutes if not faster.

So what's the issue?

Well, the fact that every outfit I give them for daily use has to be taken into account any time there might be a scene where they are wearing clothes - either that, or I have to force them to switch clothes before it happens, which is sub-optimal. And that's just clothes - costumes don't even have a logical reason to be worn outside.

And what the solution then?

The solution I've been brewing up is actually very simple. I am thinking of making use of the photo studio as somewhere where you can bring the girls and have them wear costumes, then I can create a bunch of scenes that change with the clothes but are only playable in there. That eliminates the big issue of "What if they wear X outfit when Y happens."

It's probably the only way we are gonna see Ann in a princess Leah slave outfit. Which I for some reason have been asked about several time by several individual people.

I would probably poll new costumes and such, cause I am much better at story stuff than throwing random things like outfits together.

The question is though... How much do people care? There's always a chance that it's just the people I talk to that are very vocal about it. To do this I'd probably want quite a majority of people interested in it, since it would be more work on top of the already backbreaking amount I put myself through.

Just to be clear though, this would be extra content. I'll explain what that means when and if it's relevant. For now... Take a vote!

I totally understand what you’re saying, you have 1000s of scenes in your build and they aren’t all connected. If it was as easy as adding and if/then switch to each scene then it might not take that much time. But what you’re saying is that you would have to edit every scene and that just isn’t feasible and very inefficient. We do want it, you’re right, we really want it. But if say I’d rather complete the game before having costumes if it were to slow the process. Just my own opinion. However, what if you made that a separate goal and set it to a specific membership tier that people could choose, because that would show direct interest and actual support. A pole allows people to say what they want without having to show support. Then if you believe you have the support you need you know if it’s something you can viably spend time on and it be worth it to you. I’d get that tier for a new character costume every month.

I want costumes but not worried about it during the scenes. I would rather have 30 outfits that don't show up in any scene than 5 outfits that work for 1 scene each

Haha, i get you. Then though, it becomes an issue of if it makes sense. I mean, i doubt they can walk around dressed as disney princesses without anyone putting notice to it

Haha, yeah, there are quite a lot of scenes aren't there? I do kinda think of doing it like that, where I add it to a certain tier. I would probably be able to better gauge how liked it is. I do wanna add costumes, I just sorta need to get the system set up so its easy to add on top of everything else. I think the most likely is that I try adding it to the 10 and above tiers - since setting it higher feels wild and setting it to 5 feels like mean as it leaves out a single tier only.

Well, I mean... Dude had like 6 actual scenes in the game xD So that's probably how. The majority of his stuff was made using the sprites
