A mixture of most of these us best, byt a focus on the MC continuing to develop each relationship, and the girls becoming friends and working together is the best basis for a harem. You can still mix in secrets, like a girl at the clothing store that throws herself at the MC for fun, but isn't part of the harem, but keeping the whole thing secret is a chekhovs gun that demands an eventual clash and loss of harem members over the secrets and betrayal, while the isekai special is just the most brain dead wish fulfillment that is massively overdone at this point.

A mix of B and C here. Yes, harem content is everywhere, but I seldom find depictions of how a realistic polycule would form and continue to grow over time. Plus I like the girls spending time with and liking each other outside of a sexual context. Love isn't easy. It's work for everyone involved. But it makes the special moments you have with each other all the more beautiful.

always good to be worth the attention - and that means not just sitting back and waiting for them to fawn over MC. Also its preferable if the ladies aren't actively hostile to each other.

I mean... you see elements of all of them in the game actually? Tara - A. You're the target out of more pride than anything, you didn't do anything until much later in story development to change the "Narrative". Tara + Hope - B. They naturally are protective and open with each other. Monique and Anne/Kim - C. Many of the other FC's are pretty situational or have a mode of control regarding their amorousness' , while these in particular have a bit of work and also fit slightly into D's archetype for Monique and Anne in particular. Monique and Anne and Tara - D. Somewhere, somehow it's being hidden to either protect, avoid, or in spite of someone close to them. E is a general staple of this game's expectation.. Hopes a great example, and there are probably a few cheerleaders in the group that will become or can become Orbits in the harem, on top of whatever characters outside the KP universe who may saunter on to the stage. Shego and Bonnie kind of fit into a separate orbit category despite being pretty popular FC due to their potential routes and partly consist of some form of control mechanism bond.. Bonnie and Shego can probably fit into that "Secret from all others" trope but not nearly as neatly as Monique, Anne, and Tara.

well, the leading option is obvious. As specific ponies used to say: Friendship wins! Besides, sooner or later you will have to close this chain of relationships completely, otherwise what the fuck is this declared harem? And I certainly don't want to see another story with an overly dark character with a dark ending.
