Hey there folks!

Due to the performance of the first video on YouTube, I decided to post the edited version of Season 2, Part 2 here on Patreon. I'm posting it as a free post so anyone can view it.

I just felt like too much time had passed and that it would not do well on the main channel, but didn't want to deprive those who wished to see it! Hope you understand!

Your assessment of the season is pretty spot on. Its interesting but how can they do so little with so few episodes. what happened to television?

The season was a victim of budget cuts and the writers strike. From what I’ve gathered they wrote a 10 episode season and then a few weeks before production was to begin HBO said to cut it to 8 episodes, then the writer’s strike happened and they couldn’t do rewrites during filming. I think the first half of the season has pretty decent pacing and structure but it really suffers in the second half. I would say the story needs a solid 45-50 episodes to be a faithful adaptation but since they’re only making 4 seasons it looks like it’s gonna be 30-35 episodes total. But that could change.

I really like this season, it just didn’t have a proper finale. That’s on hbo/Warner discovery being cheap. Tv show reactions are more popular while they are current. When you wait until long after the season is done, people have watched others react to it and the demand has passed.
