The ending of episode 6 basically happens after Ep 7. We saw what Jayce went through before he came back to kill Viktor. He did it to try and prevent what he saw in this alternate universe. Also, Jayce dismantled his hammer to get the staff and the pieces for his leg, then got the hammer from this new fucked up universe back at the end of the episode and brought it back with him.

Nat, did you ever figure out that you were watching Jayce's flashback in this ep? This ep was showing what happened to him between the end of Ep 3 and when he returned in Ep 5, not what happened after the events of Ep 6.

Feeling like Nat might have been a little confused about the timeline for this episode. This episode takes place after episode 3, when Ekko, Himerdinger and Jayce all get zapped away. You see where they went and what happened to them during that interim.

When Heimerdinger, Jayce, and Echo first disappeared I thought, "oh, no, not another multiverse theme." But, this episode has turned out to be my favorite. Seeing this happy Powder and seeing Echo experience what could have been is everything! One thing the creators of Arcane really improved on this season is giving us such heartbreaking happy moments to go along with the sad.

Fun (or not so fun 😭) fact, the dance scene between Ekko and Powder is animated in 4 frames per second because Ekko's device can only turn back time 4 seconds at a time😭😭😭. Arcane animators are on another level...

Nat, that was Jayce's journey before coming back and killing Viktor. He didn't get shaggy hair again, that was him getting his shaggy hair in the first place.

I highly recommend looking up the English translation to the song that plays during Ekko and Powder's dance, it's tragic but the lyrics are really fitting for the Ekko/Powder/Jinx dynamic.

Right, this ep is catching us up on what the trio was up to while they were stuck in the arcane/wild rune thingy during act 2.

im sure you've watch the rest by now but in case you haven't, the Jayce stuff in this episode was before he got spat out in act 2, its a recap to show you how he got to the point he was, and why he was so convicted and messed up. but yea the dance being animated at 4fps, 4 seconds being how far echo's power can take him back was such a nice touch. edit: OH also, im pretty sure, like 99% sure that Echo and Powder in this world were already a thing, Milo and Claggor saying "trouble in paradise" and "what would you do without her" the way she hugs him right at the start, and the "can we pretend like its the first time" line because for Powder it wasnt the first time. also i feel like you will appreciate the joke my sister said immediately after watching this, "there are about to be SOOOOOO many AU fanfics tomorrow" xD

Not Ekko living it up in paradise while Jayce is stuck in a cave for weeks, eating bugs and going crazy from his bum leg 😭😂 Also the song Ekko and Powder’s dance is called “Mais Meilleure Ennemie” which translates from French to “you’re my best enemy” … I can’t do this

Jayce disassembled his hammer while he was stuck down there, thats how he got the materials to stabilize his leg. The staff was the handle of the hammer, the only part he kept as it was.
