So a fun tidbit about this movie: all the stuff that looked so cool and futuristic - engineers thought so, too! This movie was a big influence on real user interface design for the next twenty years. A lot of the innovation in note-taking software and the ways you embed objects in documents was about trying to create the "Minority Report UI" that Anderton was using.

Also: Lamar Burgess' name was a hint - Anthony Burgess wrote A Clockwork Orange, the novel that led to Kubrick's film.
