_Fawlty Towers_ for December Wednesdays. It is regarded by fans and critics alike as one of the greatest British sitcoms. Critics have even said that it is the standard against which all British sitcoms must be judged. It stars John Cleese as Basil Fawlty, the late Prunella Scales as his wife Sybil, Connie Booth, with whom Cleese wrrote the show, as Polly, and Andrew Sachs as Manuel. Together they run the small, sea-side hotel "Fawlty Towers." There are only twelve episodes, two seasons of six, so doing three a week would let you watch the entire series in one month. It's one of the best Christmas gifts you could give yourself.

I will also throw my vote in for Charmed (the OG) and Bitten (now available on Prime!) which are in the same vein as Buffy and for something different, The Good Place, Friends and Designing Women (in the same era as Golden Girls so I wouldn't be surprised if you've watched it).
