Harrison Ford is new to the MCU, but his character isn’t. Thaddeus Ross was portrayed by William Hurt, and he was originally meant to return in this movie but unfortunately he passed away in 2022. I personally would’ve preferred to have Mr. Ford portray a new character while still becoming the Red Hulk, but the idea of including Red Hulk in this movie was something that even Mr. Hurt was excited for. So in a way having Mr. Ford carry on the role is an homage to the late actor. Adamantium is the same material that runs in Logan’s skeleton. Laura has it too. There was a time when the X-Men or anything directly associated with them couldn’t be mentioned. Adamantium was among them. Now that Disney bought it all, there’s almost nothing they can’t do. Also, that stuff is definitely stronger than vibranium in the comics. Let’s not forget Wakanda and Talokan both still have vibranium and last I heard both nations aren’t in the best of terms with the States. How this will impact relations between the three nations time will tell.

Really wish you'd go back and watch the Ms Marvel series. She will be very important going forward, as you've already seen from The Marvels, but also it's a short series that is incredibly inventive and fun.
