Ashleigh! You don't remember Lindsey?

Huemon_Nottabear

My audio desynced to. It's a Hulu problem.

Mine is even more odd. I'm also watching on Hulu but one source is going slower than the other. So much so that it's very noticeable by 2 minutes into the show.

You didn’t recognise Lindsey, Ashleigh!? I know he’s been gone for a couple of seasons, but I’m surprised you forgot about the formerly one-handed lawyer from Wolfram & Hart. It was a pretty big reveal, that Eve was somehow in cahoots with Lindsey: I remember being shocked, back when it first aired, to see him return, after being gone since Season 2. Perhaps the room was a little too dark: hopefully you’ll either see this post, or one of the others that will inevitably mention who it was. 👍😀

If Spike looked at me like that, I'd take a whole damn week off! LOL My audio messed up too. Hulu likes to do that sometimes.

Justin Falcon

I was very curious to see if Ashleigh would recognize Lindsey with long hair lol. Also, No audio issues for me on Hulu.

What's really interesting is the implications that, in the flashback to William catching Angelus having sex with Drusilla.; this is probably the first time that's ever happened. In the season 2 episode "Darla," Drusilla comments that Angelus won't touch her - which factors into the reason she goes and sires William shortly thereafter. But this tracks. The only reason Angelus is having sex with Dru is because Spike is in love with her, thinks she's his destiny; and Angelus' entire motivation for being is to take that away from other people. He feels that in becoming a vampire, he was robbed of his humanity, his connection to the people he loves; and he feels compelled to take that away from everyone else. He did that to Giles, tries to do it to Buffy, the victims we saw in Amends; it's how he drove Drusilla insane. And once William exposed his vulnerability, he does it to him. He's even kind of doing it to himself too; because Angelus was becoming close to William. There was a kinship there, he was someone that understood him and even admired him; and Angelus couldn't abide that and had to push him away and make William hate him.
