I also initially hated losing Fred, but I was so impressed with Amy Acker’s switch to Illyria that I just went along to see where the story was going. She’s just so good. Also, by then I wasn’t super shocked that Joss demolished Wesley/Fred. It seems no one’s allowed to be happy in the buffyverse. At least, not for very long.

I'm so sad you don't like Lindsey's style. I used to wear outfits just like that in my early 20s. Cowboy style shirt, baggy jeans and Doc Martin's. OK it was a Lil cringe.

I think everyone that loves this show feels the same way about loosing Cordy and Fred. They were two amazing characters that were built up so well, but never given enough time in their prime versions. After countless rewatches, it is still a tough pill to swallow.

I assume Gunn’s getting the same punishments as Lindsey since the family life is EXACTLY the same. It’s like 100% substitution with no differentiation between who the subject is.
