I was hoping you would do a Patreon. I'm glad you did.

Cuties! Best food created by God❤️

Michael Johnson

Brilliant review, so pleased you've started a Patreon

christopher brown

Great first reaction and Aliens is better way better I'd like to recommend Terminator and Terminator 2 also The Martian

Michael Sailor

Aliens will blow you away. You might have to add more stars. *L*

Bill Bevins

Love your reaction to this. Lots of jump scares. The actor who played Ash also was Napoleon in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and he was also Bilbo Baggins in Lord of the Rings. The director here didn't inform the other actors of the creature popping out of the guys chest in order to get the look of shock on their faces. Aliens is more of an action movie where the first one was horror. If you want to see other suspenseful movies may I suggest The Others with Nicole Kidman or Magic with Anthony Hopkins and Ann Margaret.

Bill Bevins

I'm going to suggest the same three movies every week. If you do one of them, then I'll put in another one. Maybe you'll get tired of seeing them and react to them just to shut me up😁. The movies are Romancing the Stone, Time Bandits, and The Sting.

Gio Vidrio

If you enjoyed this then you’re gonna enjoy Aliens, a lot more action and suspense in that one! Still cannot believe you’re gonna react to Shaun Of the Dead, being the first non-millennial movie and hopefully looking forward to Interview. You’re gonna do some great ones!

You make me smile & laugh every time I watch one of your videos. & Beans is super cute too. Glad I can help support you & fingers crossed you can reach your goal & start doing this full time.

Anonymous

Also, can’t wait for you to watch Aliens. It’s even better!

Anonymous

Tom Skerritt was the captain. You can watch Top Gun he's Viper in that movie....

Kenton Kruger

Oh, so it is Alien, not Aliens. I was wondering why she was doing the sequel, but also thought it might be an error. Guess I shouldn't be surprised given I saw the title in a poll where I voted for Shaun of the Living Dead ;)

Kenton Kruger

For the watchalong, is this the theatrical or directors cut?

Robert Gruhn

Now that scene from spaceballs should make sense. Same actor too.

ingibingi2000

This is a movie where the sequel is absolutely this level of quality if not more

Mark Sylvester

I never realized how many cats and dogs were in these movie until I started watch them with Ashleigh!

William Shipley

Aliens is absolutely worth a watch. Joined for the full length, but may wait till Mondays to watch because it gives me a nice break on the first work day of the week. Going to second the request for Romancing the Stone from above. If nothing else, it'll give me a reason to revisit it for the first time in 30 some odd years.

awkwardashleigh

I've uploaded the full length via google drive in your tier! let me know if you have any issues with it and I'll try another way ☺️

Mark Sylvester

I suggest some more Coen Brothers. Blood Simple. It gets forgotten by Raising Arizona, Fargo, O Brother, Where art thou? ,The big Lebowski and the others.

Tyler Foster

Definitely. Lebowski is probably going to be the most popular suggestion, but The Ladykillers is probably the only Coen Brothers movie that's not very good (and Tom Hanks is great in it).

Tyler Foster

Everyone is going to recommend Aliens, and Aliens is definitely really good, but I'll go to bat for the entire series. I'm in a minority, but the workprint version (aka "Special Edition") of Alien³ is my favorite Alien sequel. The best way to look at the four main Alien movies is that each is going to be wildly different from one another. People hate Alien³ because it makes choices with characters (trying not to say too much) that many people felt was like a betrayal, but if you accept that the movie is trying to keep the series fresh and each entry distinct, I like the story it tells as part of what was originally envisioned as a trilogy with an overall arc.

Eric

Oh no, not again. From Spaceballs same actor.

Eric

Alien is a horror movie, Aliens is an action movie.

Jerrod Acree

This review was hilarious. Easily worth the monthly premium!

MrBamaRed

Great movie to start the new year! Aliens is a must watch as others have stated above. One of my all time favorite movies. Great review and love your reactions!

I'm confused I'm Tier: Hi, yes, hello! Tought I could watch the full lenght revieuw here? But only this 20 min video to watch. Does anyone know?

Kenton Kruger

Pretty sure the one that's blocked for us is the one with the video shown at the same time. Not sure when she'll be uploading the watchalong style one we get will be going up. First week, I'm sure there's some bugs in the system to be worked out.

Out of all the movies out there, Aliens is in my top 2!! Must must must watch the extended version next!! Loved the reaction, looking forward to multiple uploads... your reviews make my day

Anonymous

No but they did do a comdex of sorts. They actually have a sequel coming out this year 35 yrs later called Maverick. It would have been out already if not for the pandemic....

Be Kind

For the rating system, I say throw out the stars and go w/something like below: 1. A new go-to favorite 😎 2. Would prob rewatch 😃 3. Glad I saw it 🙂 4. Not bad but not for me 😐 5. Does not hold up ☹️ 6. It’s bad, y’all 😬

Be Kind

“... all that family-friendly bullsh*t ...” Should’ve watched Bad Santa. Oh, well. This year. 😜

Sneakypreacher

Tom Skerit is an excellent old school actor. So is Sam Elliot.

Edward Landis

The first R rated movie I ever went to. It blew away my fragile little 15 year old mind! Alien is definitely a 10 out of 10. It set the bar for this genre. Aliens is also great. You are my first Patreon. Love it.

Edward Landis

Just a thought...how ‘bout cat heads and call them Beanies? Ex: That movie was fantastic, Ten Beanies! 😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺

Ken - Kendo161

the actor you were thinking of in "the thing", was Kurt Russell, Sigourney Weaver was 30 in the first movie.

Edward Olson

On Sunday at 7am Eastern Time, it's Monday in the Marshall Islands and its capitol, Majuro. The Marshall Islands are part of Micronesia. So Majuro, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Millennial Movie Monday. So the Early Access is still on Monday ... somewhere MMM!

You've now replaced Hulu in my life, they can feed themselves, but Beans gotta eat.

Brent Fugett

Really jazzed about possibly Aliens, I like that one better, more colorful story/characters IMO.

ROG

X2

Vega

Wait where are all the other videos?

Ken - Kendo161

that is an hilarious image.

Rumpus Parable

Both of my cats (that have now passed away from old age issues) were named after scifi kitties. Accidentally, both orange tabby scifi kitties while neither of them were orange tabbies. One was Pixel (from Heinlein books) The other was Jonesy.

Matthew kahlig

This is one of my all time most liked movies Sigourney Weaver really made her mark here

Matthew kahlig

I really would have liked them to have made the alien prequels R in alien continuation like alien isolation

Matthew kahlig

This is one of my all time most enjoyed film Sigourney Weaver really made her mark I believe before this she was doing theater work

Matthew kahlig

Who thinks beans would have made it out of there off the ship

Hey Ashleigh, I love your sincere reactions. I usually only buy into reactors that react to “Band of Brothers “ but you seem special because of your spontaneous and pointed reactions. Therefore, I am agreeing to sponsor you on “Patreon” just because you seem to make it “click””. I would like to bring to your attention two (2) movies from 1987 that have been overlooked by an unsympathetic public. First is the “Electric Horseman” starring Robert Redford and Jane Fonda !!!! Enough Said. The second is a rather obscure entry (at least for Americans) titled “The Lighthorsemen” which has an element of high drama in several places in spite of a slightly romantic undercurrent that I will dismiss. I CHALLENGE YOU TO CHECK IT OUT. I will tell you that it is Australian and that means it is underserved. I know that you are bombarded with suggestions, but I think if you give these a look, you will be pleasantly surprised as will your subscribers, (they will scramble to get the videos). But what the hell do I know, I’m just an old fart from the mid-twentieth century that loves horses, dogs, cats, and all of Gods wonderful creatures. So, in closing just keep on doing the wonderful things that you do.
