Hey Everyone,

Sorry for the delay with this batch of chapters. I'm going on holiday for 2 weeks on Monday, so the next batch of chapters will likely be at the end of April, depending on if I get much writing done. I'll be there with Sergeant Head, Chatfield and Doc Ameye, so it's going to be very good for the creativity!

I had a bit of a slower week with writing this time around, but I'm really enjoying the direction the story is taking. I wanted to think about a few things in relation to the Tower, but I'm happy with how it's coming together. You'll be happy to see a few people in these chapters that haven't been around in a while. :)

As always, I love hearing your feedback. I saw there were some concerns that I was going to disappear and announce a release date or something like what happened with Book 2. That's not going to happen, as you're getting the chapters as I write them. You'll have them before my editor gets them.

Reason for the delay this time was because I had a snag with one of the chapters and needed to change it before I could send upload the batch. Thanks for your patience with me. We're officially half way through the story, which is exciting. I can't believe I'm on the final stretch of having my first trilogy completed. I'm going to be making a deal for books 4-6 soon for audio, so that should be fun!

Anyways, enough of my rambling. Thanks for your support and I hope you enjoy them!

Thank you for the chapters! Great to see Barry and Divinity again, and love how she was playing with them. I agree that the pace felt faster than the last chapters, but i feel like not a lot happened, especially considering this was a 6 chapter batch. Anyways, can't wait for the next batch after your holidays!

The gang is back together! chapter 41's ending had me laugh out loud. I love their group dynamic. Looking forward to seeing what him and divinity will get up to before/during/after the tower. Also wondering if their flirtyish ways will continue. Also, I love the fact that Sal is like divinity's bane with his weaves crafting. Also 42 world building with demons was cool! Thanks for the chapter.

Another great group of chapters. Personally I think chapter 40, specifically the assembly with Quest and Chatfield, needs more work. I understand that your trying to show that the Academy and Quest are being pushed and pulled in multiple directions by outside forces, however this chapter whilst doing so makes me question why anyone goes to this academy. From what we have learned about the world there is nothing stoping someone from going out and hunting demons or clearing towers that hadn't gone to Quest Academy. So what is the point of the academy? Why should the students want to be here? Maybe it's my personal bias about how useless higher level education is, but personally if I were Sal after the last few chapters and the revelation made in them and the way I have been treated, would be leaving. With Sal's powers he could easily do his own thing, and probably do it just as well as he was at the academy.

Barry is an underrated character and very charismatic. Divinity as well. They use their power extremely well. Sal on the other hand is the only one who isn’t really using his power to the upmost capability. Erika was right on the money and couldn’t have said it better. I thought that was what Sal needed and an opportunity for him to truly push himself by copying others powers but he hasn’t copied a single power this book

YES. like, iirc the military guy's power could copy items and i don't remember all that many limitations, in my opinion Sal should've copied that power and then made copies of the coat Upgrade and Blathnaid made, there wouldn't be side effects bc Sal has high compatibility with that power, and it would give his team a BIG advantage. The only reason i can come up with for him not to do so is that "anti plot-armour" i mentioned in an earlier chapter...

I hadn’t even thought about that !!! That’s a good way to take advantage of that power which to be honest it’s the least of the powers he could copy… I mean the assassins power would allow him to turn everyone’s power off as well as teleport! And he is afraid of the girl ? When he could use her power better than she could? There should be NO competition

And you forget what Barry said when Sal first saw his power. Using an unknown power without training can result in horrible side effects. Imagine if Sakura’s power not used right creates an anti-magic bubble only effecting humans? In one of these chapters it looked like Sal had the idea of using Chatfield’s power on the cloak to equip both him and the healer. So there’s a chance he still uses it for the tower

Yes, I remember what he said well. It’s mainly for physical powers but I reckon learning how to heal would solve it

I really love this Series, but i find it really difficult to imagine the entire Series so far have happened in the first semester. I love sal and the gang so much, so this is my only gripe, but every time i hear a timetable, it irks me a little.. On that note, i DO really love this Series, and i hope i get 20 more of these Amazing books!

I agree about Sakura's power being too risky, and actually think she said that herself. But copying the coat should not be an idea that he simply thought was "not a priority right now, and could happen post-tower", bc he kinda needs it now and it sounds like a quick thing to do.

Exactly, it doesn't sound right that so much happend in so little time and that it needed 3 full books to happen. it's one of the very few things that I don't love about these books, but it doesn't really take that much away from the overall good.

Since we got a little bit before next chapters I can likely reread the part where he debates on using Chatfield’s ability. To me it’s the 1 ability that would make him insane for when he has to dive into dungeons/towers. Just thinking if every item he’d make in the future and be able to create it for his name as it fits best

I agree with everything here. I was slightly disappointed when I read it was only the first month in the first book. And now we’re in the middle of the 3rd book and it’s been 2 1/2 months so far. Right now I’m concerned that he is really planning on starting a guild by end of the first year.

Sorry for this late post as it concerns chapter 21. Not sure why Sal is not concerned about working with Darren Lenihan who is with Bastion. Especially when Blathnaid iis getting cozy with Darren.

To be fair he got pretty much fasttracked into everything. By his parents into the business world. Mythcrafter pretty much had him skip almost all crafting classes when he bruteforces it and learning normaly would have taken him 2-X years like mentioned by Upgrade. It also is reconized by him that in everything (combat, social, etc) he his behind others So yeah it is a really short time but i think he is mostly that proficient because his abilitys rope him along in what would else take years (which is not a good timeframe to write a book which keeps a high tension of what happens next) Dont misunderstand me a slow progression story can also be good but then it needs to be of a really really good story to keep you interested in the periods where almost nothink happens or the author would need to do time skips like every few chapters and you would not have a progrssion novel where you see them evolving but jist frames days/months /years apart where the story then needs to retell what big events happened in between

I think the biggest Waste so far, is Sal Not using his und Barrys power to make a Helmet for sleeptraining, it would be the Highest impact on the human world, for Sal with his Powers it would be the Boost for Most his Problems

Question: Do we get to see a list of the class rankings after the camping trip? I figure it's probably something you add during edits (trying to keep track of all the rankings and numbers must be a bear). I personally really enjoyed the leader boards during book one and I'd love to see more in the future.

Really hate Chatfield. He wants the military to be in charge and the military is always fine with sacrificing as many as needed for the higher ups to look good.
