Hey Everyone,

Hope you all had a great weekend and are gearing up for Halloween! Here are the next batch of chapters. I've gotten over the jetlag and my sleeping pattern is doing far better, which is how we have six this week.

I've even managed to get some gaming time in, which was lovely. Outer Worlds 2 for those of you that's curious. I'm enjoying it!

Anyways, a lot happens in this bunch of chapters and it will hopefully answer a few of the questions that you've had. I'm sure there are a few typos in here, as I was writing in a flow-state and missed a few things. I'd love to hear feedback on what you think of the chapters and story. The editing team will catch the spelling errors. :)

See you all next Monday for the next batch!

Brian

Wow love the direction. I think your writing of strong support characters like Divinity, Barry, Upgrade, Petro, Vanessa etc adds so much to your storyline. That is why I like the chapters of Sal working with them rather than pure crafting with different materials. The crafting of the Death Net was great because you had him interacting with others. The scene with the Mythic Guild meeting is wonderful as we experience the other characters and their input and strengths. Love to see Sal’s mom get fixed by Athena and see her and Pedro kick demon ass,

Kenneth Darlin

That’s awesome, but as an accountant you just left me on the biggest cliff hanger of them all!!!! Booooo

Rielgesh

Tftcs! Loved the plot progression here! Divinity(?) said Sal was like a skill implant machine now, wondering if he'll give his guild mates Perfect? Or something more tailored once he gets a handle on Skill Paragon?

Perversity

Chapter 56 - The Assassin seemed to light up at the sight of Sal's Dad, which told him who the mystery sparring partner had been. "You've put together one hell of a team, son." Petro mentioned in one of the earlier chapters, that he sparred with Sakura. Over all great chapters, I really enjoyed 51 and 56.

Drew Wallace

Great chapters! The cliffhanger has me so eager for more. I do hope we get to see Vanessa as vice guild leader and making Sal into more of a leader. So excited for more

Richard Moore

Thanks for the chapters. They were very enjoyable. I really appreciate the way Enigma is relating to Sal, it is good to see some guild leaders that are not all into themselves. Seems like a potential guild master to guild master mentorship. It is also good to start getting some more info about Skill Paragon but anxious to see how that skill develops and what it is capable of.

I’ve never been excited to hear about finances!

I think villa will be vice lead and that we’ll see blink and watcher soon. The guild has no idea how much they’re worth. I think Petro is going to blow some minds…. No one has even mentioned the diagnostic machine he made for medical, the fact that they are growing rare plants that can be sold out right. We haven’t received an update from the Arkwright and it has probably been making a killing. With the partner ship with Baron and Mr Mackles, distribution is already in place.

Great chapters. Can’t wait for book 5 to drop. Looking forward to reading it again.

I hate to be that person but I dislike how Sal is going. Sal being very different then most mc's is what got into QA so much in the first place. But the level of glaze Sal got for what was basically a weapons test that he told no one about or what he was doing is just nuts to me. There were soooo many things that could of gone wrong. (What happens if death net hurt people too?, What if it drew more demons then it could kill? What if as it gets bigger it draws more and larger demons to a point that its just wall to wall demons) I just can't see how people would be ok with students testing this place out, let alone the school it self. With the level of glaze Sal gets plus the fact that he roles nothing but 20's is making me see him as a bog standard mc.

As much as Quest tries to mitigate some of Sal's behaviour in the name of safety, Quest Academy is still a magic school military institution. It's packed to the gills with irresponsible people testing out poorly understood and dangerous abilities, with little oversight or regard paid to the morality and ethics of their use. The Hunter Bureau just wants good little soldiers and results after all. In the early books Sal was working more closely with those disadvantaged by the system, but now he and his friends are riding high they may become increasingly insulated from the consequences of their actions. After all of his successes I imagine it's easy to believe that everything he touches turns to gold. Perhaps we might see a different perspective espoused by Brophy and Specter, or those they left behind?

Brett 'Swantz' Swanson

I'm looking forward to reading it as a complete unit without having to continuously opening each individual chapter!

Inger Lise

Dam. I have reached the end again. 😞😢

I love where this is all going. I know some complain about it but I think it is amazing that as a first year this kid has SO many insanely powerful allies backing him and joining his guild. I cannot wait to see what happens when he gets to see Upgrades snake in action. And knowing he gave up SO much just to get Divinity into his guild and out from under Roberts thumb is maybe the sweetest thing he could have done for her. I really love Fabi, but there is something about his connection to Divinity and how sweet she is that really makes me want to see the two of them end up together. The more I see how this story is going the more I feel Barry is totally going to end up with Erika so pretty sure hes not going to marry Fabi!!

Dawn Zeleznik

I will agree the more the story goes on, the more Fabi seems to treat him like a little brother or crafting buddy. I do like Divinity, but I would like to see Sal with someone who doesn’t need him to fix their weave or be an object of great change in their life. Who wants to think maybe they are with them out of gratitude, kind of how the “relationship” with Hannah began.

TwoMoreYears

Really enjoying where this is headed at the moment. Can really see how things are starting to build and how the guild operates. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Sal getting perfect back. It had become such a staple that I really felt the relief when he activated it again.

Brendon

'and the bxtch had notes' had me audibly cackling. I absolutely love this series and everything you've done with it

Ephraim Snyder

I wish Sal was more invested in his guild. The way things are going it seems more like diva is the guild master. He seems to always be clueless on what is happing in his own guild. But I’m excited for more.

Élie Méthot

Divinity got me crying for her. I’m so happy. It was beautifully written. Petro’s showmanship works on me I guess

Spencer Needler

I am really enjoying the expansion on guild and organizational relationships between the various power players in this book. It’s really helping to transition the story into a greater plot line away from relying on the typical power/growth-fantasy tropes that I’ve seen write LitRPG stories into plot holes and oblivion

DeAndrea H

The line “It was Athena’s second time seeing Mythcrafter and the bitch had notes” made me literally laugh out loud. 😂
